Romano's Pizzeria

We get delivery from here all the time. We rang tonight (5 Dec 2023). They did not answer the phone. Rang 9 times, benefit of doubt, if they were busy. Decided to go up! Got there at 8pm. Lights off! We’re closed sign! Young kids inside. They weren’t answering the phone! Boss wasn’t there. So disappointed!

We stayed in Joondalup for two nights and called in for a pizza on the first night and discovered their tiramisu. We ended up ordering again from here the next night with the whole family and my god we are glad we did! They delivered to the resort reception for us, we got pizzas, pasta, risotto, drinks and tiramisu. If we are ever in the area we will be visiting Romanos again. Highly recommend!

Normally a regular but just literally tried to call 20 times in 1 hour to make an order and couldnt get through and had to go elsewhere on a saturday night.not acceptable

It has a horrible smell as you go in. Not Pizza cooking. Poor replica of a pizza. Even the pepperoni was a full piece over the slice. Bottom was not crisp. Doughy.

Attempted to order via phone. Tried for 30mins on a Saturday evening. Straight to voicemail.

Just had pizza here for first time. Have to say very delicious. Whole family agrees. Not saltylike mass produced ones and nice amount of ingredients. Young guys very polite. It's now our go to.

Always hot and fresh pizza at Romano’s. The pasta dishes are also fresh and very good quality. With friendly staff and easy parking right out front, this is our favourite pizza place around Joondalup. Two family pizzas $38 will feed two adults and two teenagers with heaps left over for the next day. Never had a bad pizza from here. They’re all good.

Omg, the pizzas and pasta are just amazing. 3 pizza sizes so whole family was covered and the pasta serve is huge, great sauces and just like being in my nonna's kitchen. The bruschetta is out of this world plenty of topping in fact we had left over topping. Great friendly service from ordering to pick up would recommend this place living in the area especially if you are just visiting and staying at the resort just down the road. Highly recommended.

Having moved to the area recently, we have been trying to find a good pizzeria. The one we used to go to in Kalamunda set the bar high! Happily, Romano's is just as good and we will be repeat customers. I love the crust, and the prawns are proper prawns, not tiddly little ones. Flavoursome and generous with toppings, but not so much that everything slides off. Can't wait for our next pizza!

Never made a bad pizza yet. Deserves more awards. Fresh and cooked to perfection every time. Polite staff and great owners.

Can’t say if the pizzas are any good or not because I walked in to order one and was acknowledged by two staff. One was making a pizza and the other was just standing around not doing a lot and even though she looked me in the eye and said hi didn’t bother to take an order. I waited around for 3-4 minutes and still nothing while she just stood there doing nothing, so I walked out and was served straight away at fish n chips shop next door which was nice cheers

I rated this 5 stars 4 years ago. Within the last year it became impossible to place a phone order and I don’t believe they do online either. About a year ago the owner acknowledged they needed a new phone system. We took a break for a few months from Romano’s and decided to give it a go again last night. Even worse now. Same with phones. Just straight to voicemail. But also, the pizzas were tasteless and definitely have gone South since we previously visited. In addition to the frustration, I asked for a supreme with extra mushrooms. There was definitely no extra mushrooms as there was hardly any mushrooms on it. The second pizza was meant to be pepperoni and cheese. It had no pepperoni and was burnt dry. That’s it for us.

A few months ago It would have been 5 but for whatever reason the pizza’s have been awful. I was getting the same thing on Friday nights and tipped the drivers well. I rang to ask if they’d changed hands or something because the quality was not there. The prawns etc they used to use turned in to dried up shrimps

I had large Margherita pizza. It’s decent pizza for the price. I ordered thin base but it was not that thin.

It was a lot of noise in the shop, I found it difficult when placing my order, I wear hearing aids and so much back ground noise was drowning out the conversation. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, so I walked the centre returning around 15 minutes. I started to notice people who came in after me were receiving their orders, so when I got the chance I asked if I'd perhaps missed my order call, and yes I had, it was on the side to keep warm.
I didn't enjoy the pizza, not sure if I was disappointed by the service or the flavours, or perhaps it was both. I do know for sure I'll not be driving out there again to repeat this experience.

Small little takeaway shop nestled within a shopping centre.

The shop is well systemised and the quality of the pizza is good. Prices are also reasonable.

The thing is I've never been there but a friend of mine works there and always brings a pizza home with him when we are at gathos
And I'm never disappointed
Usually, the crust is cooked to the point where is cracks in the mouth but you can still feel that softness about

Great tasting toppings and the best prawns. If they weren’t so oily and the toppings didn’t slide off I would give another star.
My personal preference would be to have the bases cooked a bit more.

The pizzas are good but home delivery lacks. 20 minutes after expected delivery = cold pizza. We live approximately a kilometre away

Slowest pizzas in Perth, geez, get a third oven would you please? Pizzas are great but becoming not worth the wait.
