Roebuck Plains Roadhouse

I only tried the gas station and the restaurant.we eat very well there, it's plentiful, simple and the price is appropriate

On October 11,2023 we spent 1 night here on a powered site with a campervan and had dinner in the evening at the Roadhouse itself.

The site was fine for our campervan. The toilet facilities were a bit dated but clean and worked well. The campsite is located on the highway, +/- 30km from Broome. So there is traffic there, we were not bothered by it at night as the air conditioning in the campervan also makes noise.

But, definitely worth mentioning: The food at the Roadhouse in the evening was delicious! Definitely 5 stars for that. According to the manager, people from Broome come to the Roadhouse especially for the food, and I believe them! Definitely worth stopping for.

Roebuck Plains Roadhouse is easily in the top 5 roadhouses of Australia.
The food is delicious and well priced, large array of drinks - a genuine outback atmosphere only 30 mins from Broome.
Worth the drive!

Resturant lives up to previous reviews, excellent balue for money, excelled food, great staff

Don’t order the steak and onion toastie as the steak is pure road kill. A crocodile couldn’t chew it and swallow it.
The donga (rooms) are clean. But don’t expect to ring your loved ones from your room as there is no reception in your rooms and no wifi at all unless you are staff then you have star link. But not for you. 4G 2 bars is all you can expect at the bar. But don’t bother trying to download a movie to watch in your room. That’s just not possible. All this just 20 minutes from Broome a major tourist attraction. Go Telstra. As a last resort yeah stay. Staff are friendly. I’ll be surprised if I can even upload this review from the bar.

Lots of food choices. The sausager rolls would be better if they weren't so dried out from the warmer.

Fuel is expensive, Food is expensive alcohol is expensive great showers & clean, staff are great just I pity everything else is expensive

The food is really nice and everytime I've been there, it's more importantly been fresh!

A good place to stop for a feed on the journey through the area. Quite good food and good service in interesting surroundings. We didn't stay here so cannot comment on the rooms.

Nice room with all the usual amenities including laundry with a water and a drier. Lovely swimming pool. Good meals and drinks in the dining area or the chicken & chip shop is only a short walk away. Helpful staff. Located amongst interesting shops. Recommended.

Great place to stop. All facilities you need except for a dump point. Occasionally trucks passing at night then a 5am wake up call for everyone as the tricks start up and leave. Well done to the staff they work flat our all day.

Its a good park, lots of double g's in the grass, not very good phone reception at the moment, but the food in the roadhouse was exceptional staff are awesome!

One of my favourite places for many years but not tonight. Our t-bones were both tough and full of gristle. Told the waitress how disappointed we were but she didn't seem to care. Very sad.

Spinach and feta quiche was huge and delicious. Paid $15.90 for the quiche plus a sausage roll.
They also had some vegetarian salads and pasta in the fridge, plus fruit cups etc if your looking for vego options.

Good spot to camp if touring the area. 33 klm out of Broome and the price is cheaper than Broome, lovely big sites on green grass

Great place for meals. The prices are decent for the size of the meal you get. They are always happy to supply a 'doggy bag' for your left overs and I always have left overs. It can get noisy, but that is to be expected, it's a truck stop, fuel station, restaurant. The staff are always lovely. I've never had any issues.

Best chips and gravy in the North, friendly staff and great atmosphere despite the heat. Will be back soon.

Fuel available, shower slippery and dirty but good water pressure. Food costs are expensive but fresh and tasty. A 50/50 for me.

Friendliest service I have encountered in a long time.
Great brekky at reasonable prices.exchanging a muffin for hash browns "no problem" and no charge. Toilets super clean. Thank you for a great start to the day x

Did not stay here bur car broke down at the road house the 2 blokes that worked there helped us out called the towey and got us a mechanic the staff were friendly as when we got a beer and felt less stressed about the car the out door area was awsome nice and big and seemed relaxing bill and pat you guys are legends for helping us out and havin a beer with us will go bak and stay when I go bak to Broome
