If there was a negative vote lower than one star the magistrate would be getting it. He's clearly out of touch when it comes to domestic violence and the manipulative ever the victim behaviour some abusers display and he most likely 'purposely' makes serving restraining orders difficult not considering for one second how damaging that is. He even denied a restraining order for someone even though there was a clear death threat made. He needs to retire! The rest of the people myself and my family member had to deal with were as helpful as they could be and I'm grateful for that. Even the police are aware of this magistrates failings and were not surprised at what he did and what he failed to do. Disgusting! Shameful!

Only went here to pick up some paperwork. Was happy to just get in and out. You definitely get to see an interesting crowd. Hat's off to those who have to work here.

Unfortunately due to a simple mistake by one of the Magistrates at this courthouse failing to swear / affirm a 12 year child under oath resulted in an appeal in the Supreme Court being granted. Someone who was found guilty of assault in circumstances of aggravation got aquitted due to a failure of the Magistrate.

A special thank-you to office staff who helped me to fill in paper work. They were patient, professional, kind, caring and client centred. I really appreciated it as I had to get help a number of times and I was never made to feel a nuisance. Security staff also did a thorough job with a professional and friendly approach x
