Rob's Aquarium

These guys are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Their prices are very good and their tanks are very clean and fish are healthy. I would highly recommend all the staff at rRobs aquariums as they are ethical know the fish keeping business. They also have lotsa different fish not found in the chain store.

BUYER BEWARE! Shonky, I was sold a faulty tank. It resulted in flooding and $1000 damages to carpet. Set up DAY 1, went out next day to get shopping came back and carpets soaked. I live alone and there is no pets. The only explanation is a hairline crack that wasnt noticed. Owner refused to divulge the manufacture details, ignored mine and consumer affairs requests. Only option now is court. Like to hear from others that have similar experiences.

These guys are amazing. There customer service is the best in WA. They will go over and above to help you especially when you become a regular.

Great prices on their aquarium rocks. Probably the cheapest i have seen. I got 18kg of lava rock at $6/kilo. Most of their other types are the same price. Lots of cute oranda's too.

Great little place, busy but that tells you it's good. Got some great aquarium plants. I will be back.

I can honestly say I've never been so impressed by the high level of customer service I have experience at rob's aquariums. Rob is 4 of knowledge and advice when it comes to any questions regarding setting up aquariums. He has a ton of knowledge about what sort of fish are comparable with each other. He's very good with his customers and builds a very good relationship my friend Amy is known as the guppy lady and she always talks highly of rob and joy and his team.

Love the shop, they always have something new and exotic that no other shop has, staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I would never by fish off these people ever again, me an my partner brought two fish for our tank, just after we put them in tank iwe got ick disease an we lost the tank, thanks guys for everything, I can’t express enough don’t buy from these people! All there tanks we be affected! Caution

Sold me faulty tank, crack appeared within 48 hours, caused almost $1000 in carpet repairs. They refused to give me manufacturer details (why?) and have ignored me hoping this matter will go away. Reported to consumer affairs and lodging court action. Please beware!

They are all about money not people having healthy tanks they told me that the two guaramis could go with my betta fish and the ended up killing and i bought 2 axolotls that were not allowed to be collected because the had “white spot” and ended up being anchor worm and I’m still stuck with it if you want real advice for fish go to city barn or Morley aquariums

I can't believe I've waited so long to visit this little gem of a shop. The health of their fish shows, they're all happy and colourful, and the set-up is pristine too.

This makes it hard to not buy everything. Yes you'll leave with more fish, but you'll also leave with more knowledge - that's what a great fish store should do.

My two pairs of blue rams have settled in beautifully, after not even 24 hrs, they've coloured up and are happily sifting through the sand. Will be back very soon!

Great help on all topics of fish. Great prices and always have time to help with fish or aquarium problems, including if it means helpful information that doesn't result in a sale. I have found them very knowledgeable and will always return.

I bought a 5ft tank, they came and did the setup while I was away for work. Anselm is the man to talk to. Really excellent knowledge and service from him and the team. Really healthy/happy looking fish. Will go out of their way to help. Fair prices and good quality products. Worth a trip out there if you can.

Make sure you double check the price before buying. We paid $25 a fish as opposed to $15 which I thought I was paying. We were told the fish we bought were bigger but that's not quite accurate as the size difference was marginal. I don't normally complain, but I felt I was misled as the tank with the so called smaller fish had a $15 sticker on it and the tank which he scooped them out from had no price or sticker. I just assumed it was excess stock from the $15 tank. Disappointed after all the good reviews I read. First and last time. Back to Vebas for me.
