Rob Baddock Community Hall reviews
7I attend two monthly meetings of the Northern Exposure Photographers Group there and the hall we use is practical and suitable. Seating and tables are available as is a kitchen.
There's a great triangular walk from where the 360 bus stops near the corner of Mullaloo Drive and Oceanside Promenade. For from there, if you head back into the hinterland on Mullaloo Drive, you will arrive at a roundabout at Dampier Ave. On the corner, turn right into the small park with a pleasant hall called Rob Baddock Community Hall. U3A hold very interesting talks on diverse subjects in that hall which anyone can attend for a $2 coin. Meanwhile, you can continue on down Dampier and you will arrive at Whitfords Shopping Centre, on Whitfords Drive, and all its attendant delights. After you have had your fill of looking and shopping and doing things there, you can walk towards the beach on Whitfords Drive and the first place you will get to is a wonderful "Salvo's" recycled store. Continue on, and turn right at the pretty park, or go across the road and walk along the bush path till you arrive back where you began your walk. Which, by the way is just a few steps from the special drinks and dishes you can indulge in to reward yourself at Mullaloo Tavern, right there on Oceanside. On most of this walk, you can always hail a bus if you are feeling tired. Enjoy
Very convenient and clean.
BTW, the receptionists at the JOONDALUP City Council office were so helpful and courteous just like the officer incharge of reservations. So lucky to live in CoJ.
Joondalup Symphony Orchestra performed their first ever concert together here on the weekend. Awesome building.
On a Thursday the WJAS (local art group) get together and share their talents with artist members and visitors. I was welcomed with happy artist friends that were willing to share their art talents and they invited my back as a non-member to come and see them again. The art group does have a website Wanneroo Joondalup Art Society, look them up and join in a great group of art friends.
Love going to the hall for the WJAS social painting, wonderful helpful friendly and very talented artist who are only too happy to help a struggling beginner like myself. I am in awe of the work I see there.
