Riverside Roadhouse reviews
34 The sausages were so good we kept going back for them we ordered 3.
We ordered coffee to begin with and wanted to try a sausage. Then another and another.
Tired, outside eating filthy, flies everywhere, toilets need cleaning and some toilet paper, mostly pies and a few sandwiches. Good bread and cakes. Coffee not bad.
We stopped at this Roadhouse today, omg! The toilets were disgusting, nothing hygenic about them at all, no soap, no paper towels or hand dryer, actual toilet and seat was filthy, too scared to touch anything. With so many customers stopping you’d think they could afford decent toilets. The sign out the front mentions that it costs thousands to provide toilets, no way does it cost this place thousands of dollars.
Inside the Roadhouse, a lot of food is uncovered on the counter, close to people walking past- the entry door is so dirty - yuk. We only ordered coffee, ended up throwing it away.
With the amount of staff, you’d think someone would at least clean the place- please have some respect and pride in your business and that includes your customers.
A fabulous range of bakery snacks ideal for the road-tripper. Located not far from Armadale this is the ideal morning stop for travellers heading to the south west. The store is small but packed with tasty treats.
And don't forget to check out the llama.
They kept apologising for the delay, except I didn’t think there was a delay. Older lady with tattoos was really good at her job, and so was the lady with the black hair and the guy with the black plug earrings.
I will never not stop here when I pass by! The sourdough bread is next level (I am yet to find a bakery in Perth that compares), all the cakes are fantastic, so are the pies and sausage rolls, all home made. Coffees taste great and are barista made, large selection and different types of milk. On top of that, the ladies behind the counter are so lovely that I really look forward to coming in each time. Love this place!:)
Literally everything in this place is good.highlight is the ned kelly pie and vanilla slice.just a real classic bakery that doesn’t overcomplicate things, which seems rare these days.bonus points for friendly staff.
The best place to have coffee/fresh food, I literally stop here every second day.
I would really recommend chocolate Croissant, and everything really, the staff. Is fabulous, thanks for the food by the way
Very pricey food bit pricey but we enjoyed.
Staff are super friendly. Diesel very expensive!
Sitting area was covered in bull ants and toilets not very well kept at all. Cute animals near toilet to see.
Unreliable hours of operation and lazy, unaccommodating staff. There are other, much more deserving, small businesses to support nearby in Williams.
This is what a roadhouse should be. The smell of freshly baked bread and old school charm make this place a winner.
When 91 unleaded is over 80 cents a litre more than 50kms up the road you won't get my buisness.that is pure sin.
AVOID
Absolute ripoff, fuel diesel $2.78 per litre, everywhere else down to Great Southern just over $2 per litre. Food a rip-off as well. Avoid.
A good selection of hot snacks, many freshly baked, good coffee, friendly staff, friendly flies.
Called in today, “paying customers, used toilets, both DISGUSTING (M&F) need to be checked and restocked.good food though, what a shame.
Been travelling up and down the Albany Hwy for over 30 years, Road housed have come and gone and owners and operators have come and gone, I'm loyal to the places I stop at but this has been favourite place to stop for quite some time. Toilets are only a 3 out of 10 but at least they are available.
Was desperate for a coffee and some decent food on our road trip and was so pleased we stopped here. Beautiful bread and pastries cooked on site and great coffee. Everything we ordered was excellent - highly recommend.
I had a steak pie, it had 5 small pieces of tough steak, was full of pie gelatine and gravy.
Today I tried a cheese and bacon sausage roll, had almost no flavour and looked like bread crumbs or cereal. I had one bite and threw the rest in the bin. Very disappointing
Staff were very friendly and the food is always lovely. The pies were great as were the sweet baked goods.
Having two counters is a bit confusing because I’m not sure where to order and where to pay. But that’s okay.
Top pies, great coffee, lovely people. Good place to stop driving thru the area:) The people of Boddington are always lovely.
