Riverside Gardens reviews
60Fantastic walking spot with a heap of Pokestops. One of the best places in Perth for Community Days!
Riverside Gardens located at Bayswater is an ideal place to walk your dog as long as you keep it on a lead. On the hottest of days there is always a cooling breeze coming off the River similar to the Fremantle Doctor.plenty of parking there.i have been there early @ 6am and later in the afternoon. For those who wish to make a pleasant evening there are BBQ'S dotted around plus a huge Play area for the kids.give it a try out. I'm sure you won't regret the time & effort getting there.
Brilliant place to take the dogs- best I’ve found in Perth! The river to swim in, massive areas of grass and shaded areas for them to play, and plenty of spots to rest as well!
Great park for young kids as it is enclosed and has a couple of big shade sails. It would be even better with another couple of shade sails over swing sets and slide:)
Great play area for.kids, shaded in summer. A lovely area for BBQ's and events. So great that it's a dog park also so you can walk and swim your furry friend. Certain areas are dog on lead but 90 percent of the park can be dogs off leads. The weekend usually has a few different food trucks and an all week coffee van. Pull up a picnic blanket and have a great time with your kids, pets and family.
The best place I've found to take the dog for a run, lots of other dogs to play with and a great little park for the kids, it has several bbqs and 2 toilet blocks
Great place to bring your dog for socialising and exercise. Plus rest break when doing kayaking on Swan.
Great park and lovely area with shade, seats, playground, river, gazebos.
I wouldn't recommend the park for small dogs aa there are lots of big dogs running and playing which can frighten the lil ones.
I suggest the playground side is defined aa on leash for safety reasons. Plus dogs can freely roam around the food trucks etc where lil kids are eating.it's not safe and really needs looking into before something serious happens.
Huge open areas, very popular for off-leash dog play, sunny strolls and swimming. The Cool Breeze Cafe provides excellent coffees and snacks.
Great dog park right on the swan river. Playground. Food van open in morning
Our little dog really wanted to get into the playground
I love this place. All dog lovers out with their dog/s. The occasional scrap, but that's it. A caravan to get a coffee at. Water to splash, dolphin spotting, just don't forget to scoop ya poop.
Really lovely park. Loads of open spaces, lot's of shady trees, ample BBQ areas, easy access to the river and an awesome dog beach!
Our go-to dog park. Perfect location for a long walk or a throw of the ball.
Tip: if you head into the second section, over the stream, you can do a full circle and it's a long enough walk to challenge your dog.
Also a small area for the dog to swim, and in fact also bbq areas for a family afternoon in the sun!
Be careful as owners don't always watch thier dogs which could cause potential problems. Dogs I have seen there are generally friendly but I know of a dog that wasn't. It's a lovely park. Seating and a place for dogs to swim.
Very good place for dogs! Big grass for run, calm and shallow water for swim. Also good for families to have picnic. Good playground for children.
A fantastic park for dogs (off lead) kids an adults. Bbq facilities. Gazebos. Toilets.
Park at boat ramp and walk as far as paths take you and return = approx 1.5 hrs. Perfect
Just love this park. My dog loves being here and gets so happy and excited whenever he is here. Dogs can equally enjoy having a dip in water or have a run in park. There are some food and coffee trucks on weekends which is great too. Well maintained.very nice overall
Very big wide open spaces. Playgrounds, drinking water facilities, picnic shelters etc, close to Swan River are all but great things.
Just alot of dogs running about leash free and dog poop left about everywhere due to owners ignorance.
I really enjoy Riverside gardens. The best place for a picnic, huge play ground, on the Swan river. We always take our 2 dogs for it is a huge dog park, however my only gripe is with lazy dog on not collecting their dog poo! It puts a real downer on the entire park. Yes a pet is only as good as its owner!
