Riverbend Chalets reviews
49We arrived late and tried to call to book for tenting but faced with a very rude answer. Dave does not know how to talk with people as a customer service person. Very rude!
Great little caravan park. Clean amenities. Caravan spots are a little close for comfort, we had someone come in after us and park literally 5 metres away up the embankment directly behind us. Their dog woke us at 5am every morning and we could hear every word they spoke, so if you like space and quiet probably not for you.
We love camping at Riverbend chalets and caravan park, it's just so beautiful lush with a flowing river, spotless amenities, an amazing drying room for your washing in wet weather, or they have dryers as well, it's close to town great for a walk or a bike ride into town. Thanks to Jo and David for letting us come and enjoy there little piece of paradise
Lovely peaceful location and great clean chalet. Wood fire and room for our dogs, definitely stay again. Thanks Dave an Jo
We camped in a powered site. There are many beautiful walks along the nearby river and through the trees. A spiritual energy surrounds you and the curiosity of the bird life is an amazing experience.
Dave is a caring, knowledgeable and friendly host and loves a good chat.
Clean, and generous amenities which are maintained constantly.
Will definitely return.
Small, clean, great for kids and plenty of room so they’re not under foot. Recharge your batteries, relax by the river with a cosy campfire.
Beautiful campsite, very clean amenities (hot shower!) and lovely staff. Highly recommend!
Lovely, peaceful, spacious, well kept facilities & grounds right on the towns doorstep step
Great area and cheap price compared to the other in town. Has a small farm feeling. Woke up to ducks in front of our swag having a wander. Note: no stove available if you brought pots and pans. Only a kettle and an old bbq. Ring ahead to check if updated.
Nice clean showers and toilets. Very friendly owners. Just spent nearly a week there and had a great time. Camp fires allowed with either your own firepit or they can supply one
Came in at 6pm without a booking and was told over the phone it was "too late". Very disappointing after a long day of driving and with most free camping banned.
OK place to stay but getting tired, needs a bit of TLC and upgrades. Unpowered sites are good but check before booking any groups as we had a noisy one.
Campfires allowed in your own firepit.
Very nice little caravan park just on edge of town. Friendly wildlife, quite & not crowded. Would visit again
Stayed in a unpowered site with our roof top tent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of great spots with loads of space. Had a great spot under the tree next to the river. Even had your own campfire and for the price of $15 had campfire, firelighters and paper delivered for you. Shower was hot and great water pressure! Facilities were clean and well maintained. What would make this place even better is a camp kitchen.
Beautiful spot but no tv coverage unless you have satellite.chalets and other accommodation too.
The management team were exceedingly excellent. There was an issue that presented itself within the first half hour but they were very gracious and accommodating. Park itself caters very well to family's with kids, as the owners have set up areas for BMX bikes, plus spacious grassed areas for the kids to play games. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Welcoming relaxed environment with safe and spacious surrounds for the kids to explore and parents to unwind. Wish there were more parks with the safe ethos.
Enjoyed the location and access to the town and surrounds, however the bathroom facilities are limited and a long way from the unpowered sites and quite a journey in the middle of the night.
Stayed in the park with a friend 16th and 17th December 21
Beautiful park near the river run by friendly helpful staff who also run river and land tours. It is easy to see that they love what they do. Toilets and showers are spotless.
Great food at restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Caravan Park to any travelers.
