15The experience with Risen Flour is what customer service should be like everywhere. This is my favourite place (actually the only place) that I now buy flour from. The range is great, the flours are high quality and it supports local farmers. I started my sourdough journey using Risen Flour’s sourdough starter after several failed attempts to make a starter from scratch, and for the last few months have had no issues making tasty sourdough bread at home. I couldn’t recommend your business enough!

I've been to Risen Flour a couple of times now. The shop is small but has all you need. They have alot of different premade bread mixes or plain flours for those that want to mix it themselves. A good assortment of seeds which you can add to your bread too. The owners are really nice and gave good, helpful advice. They said we could contact them if we ever have any questions at all. They even remembered our preferences between visits. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back after finishing the supplies we bought on our last trip.
Made quite a few loaves of bread but never entirely happy. Just finished the Bread Making course, and now have it all sorted. My bread now is just as I always wanted it, pretty good.
Jan runs a terrific course, and certainly knows bread making, all my queries straightened out.
A very generous fulfilling morning.
Next course is Sour Dough, and more learning points to be had, including making wet yeast, so I’m booking forward to that now.
Love, love, love this place! I've struggled to find the right flours for my sourdough and they have an incredible selection, all in one place. I've been using Risen Flour for over 6 months now and I'll never switch to supermarket flour again. It's also very well priced for a local product and comes in a variety of sizes to suit every need.
The owners are so nice and helpful. Honestly don't look any further if you're thinking of starting baking your own bread, this place has everything you need.

I wanted to try the Mighty White Bread Flour, rather than the usual supermarket flour for our Bread Maker. I must say I am really impressed with the quality of this flour and the bread was amazing. The Sourdough was light and more crispy, delicious. I would highly recommend this flour and I will definitely be trying the Super White Spelt flour and Wholemeal Flour.
I recently started doing my own bread again ans found this little gem. There seems to be some great products here. We went a little late in the day so didn't get to see all of what was there though the lovely lady at the counter advised there was more. The customer service was really good! Very friendly, really helpful and advised on the few different things. It tricked us at first as we were looking for a shop front but the business is in an industrial unit and easy to find especially if you know what you are looking for. The shop is very clean and well sign posted. I really liked the service and will post again once I've tried the product. Well worth a visit.

I have always wanted to bake my own sour dough bread so my friends and I did a weekend sour dough class. I have experimented with a few flours since. It’s amazing when you make your own bread how you can taste the difference between specific flours you use. It’s been 6 months since starting and now only use Risen flour. The taste of the organic light rye flour with the mix of the organic premium white is what I’m loving at the moment. You can order online and have delivered too.
I had the absolute pleasure of attending the sourdough workshop run by Jan. I have always been interested in making my own sourdough bread and this was the perfect workshop to learn!
The course was fantastic and Jan is wonderful at explaining the process and answering the many questions we had. She also offered a delicious selection of breads and treats made from Risen Flour products which showcased their amazing quality.
