Riseley Square Barbershop - Applecross

Having just recently moved to the area I was on the lookout for a new barber. As these guys are walking distance I popped in this morning to see how they were. Greeted with a warm welcome when I walked in. The girls were friendly and gave a great cut. The atmosphere in this place is fantastic. You can tell this is a tight team. I've found my new barber.

I was turning around and looking for a Barber.
Then I saw the reviews of Riseley Square Barber Shop and I thought, why not!?
And they clearly deserve their reviews!
I really enjoyed my time here, I like my haircut, I felt welcome, the team is so nice, professional, multicultural, of all ages, they listen you, speak with you and I could feel that they love work with each other.
The laughter between the team and the shop's customers speaks for themselves!
The vybe is just amazing.
If you go there, you will not feel like a simple customer with a number, you will feel a part of their team!
It's totally what I expect for this kind of service and I am grateful to came totally randomly in this "house".
I can only advice to go there eyes closed and you will be happy for sure!

A lovely german girl who’s working there, with awesome barbering and hair cut skills for females! I’ve been there spontaneously for a haircut. Fantastic job! The staff were amazing! Great conversationists who makes you feel right at home the second you walk in the door!

When you walk in the door to this place you will feel a weight lifted off your shoulders! Such a positive space where helps you feel happier and more relaxed! The shop is always clean and makes you feel comfortable but most importantly, the staff are amazing! Especially Jake! He is always everywhere making sure everyone is comfortable, has what they need and is happy. He has such a passion for his job that it translated to pure excellence in his work. I always see people coming out of the shop with big smiles on their faces. Well done Jake for employing such remarkable staff members and managing the shop so beautifully. Well I’ve been coming here for a long time. This guy is not just a barber. He is an MRI machine, he reads my mind about the model I want. Not only he reads my mind, he can actually 100% do it. I’m somehow changing my style trying different models and he never disappointed me.

I had my normal buzz cut.it was done by a highly competent young lady. A 1st year of her apprentice who started as a mature entrant. She has a great future ahead of her if the work she did for me is any indication. Top work delivered with a friendly smile and great conversation to boot.

Great Barbershop, highly recommend it. Jake and the girls are extremely professional and amazing at their jobs, and the place has great atmosphere.

Great men's haircuts at a competitive price. Friendly staff, fast service. My go-to place. Just turn up, no need to book. If there's a few people waiting they usually have enough staff to clear the queue in no time. I'm always in and out in 30 minutes max.

Jake (new owner) been working there for long with Gabby and Stef with more than 40years experience are amazing. Go down there guys, 101% recommended. Such a lovely, friendly and professional service. This is my story:
i grew my hair out and had long hair for 7 years because i have a scar on the back of my head that i was self conscious about. Anyway i decided to cut my hair for new year 2020, the classic "New hair New me. " The experience i had at Riseley Square Barbershop was outstanding. I was very nervous, but Jake reassured me. I told him about my scar and if he could try to disguise it and he did a perfect job. Been out of the short hair game for 7 years so i got a crash course on what products to use. I love my fresh cut and really appreciate the service provided.
