Not impressed Octoberfest
Why were 500ml beers $17 and jugs $35, normally $12 and $25?
& Why was the pork knuckle $56 instead of the $43 menu price

And we payed a $40 entry fee
Very average compared to previous years

If you haven't been here then you need to visit just to experience the atmosphere during one of their annual calendar events. The music & band are great, the food is most enjoyable & the German beer is easy to drink.

Just revisited The Rhein-Donau Club after 43 years. Great food and service and a welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to becoming a member.

Loved the atmosphere and the welcoming people there. Great schnapps and beer selection at the bar. Food was good, menu could be a bit more about German cuisine in my opinion, but the schnitzel is good and the price is fair.

A great venue for my cousins memorial which she was a member of for 50yrs plus.
Excellent railway display there as well.

I felt like I was back in Deutschland, engaging an enormous Haxe with a pint of something glorious and frothy from Bavaria. This place is a Gottsend.

Great Octoberfest. Check out the train set if you are there! Not the cheapest but the Pork Knucke is great.

Overpriced now and food wasn't properly cooked.
Chicken was still raw; Rolls for bratwurst weren't baked; white straight from the freezer. Bratwurst wasn't fried.
The main hall was so noisy that it was hard to converse with friends.
I won't ever go there again.

Awesome spot! Since moving down to Freo at the beginning of the year, we try to pop in once every week or 2 with some friends for some great beer and excellent food…have also developed a taste for schnaps too!

Everyone we meet here is super friendly, really a great vibe.

Great place for a drink and meal. Friendly people who welcome you and had some really good music playing when we went there.

Aircon blowing sootlike product over food and tables. Into drinks as well.maintenance urgently required

Oktoberfest is amazing, love the whole experience. Great air rifle range and the model train set is spectacular. Schnapps bar is something else

Octoberfest is brilliant here. Great model train room, shooting and dancing. A great night out, but a good community club every other weekend.
