Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough reviews
71 Although this hotel is getting on in age it is still beautifully maintained and clean.
The staff are very helpful and happy to help with any requests you may have.
The views are very nice to enjoy a sunset from the balcony as we asked for a ocean view room.
The buffet breakfast was worth paying the extra for as there was a multitude of choice right down to lollies and a chocolate fountain for the kiddies small and big.
We have stayed twice and it really has just been pleasant both times.
There is also plenty of places to choose from in the area immediate to the hotel for food and drinks.
A very "Big Thank You" and great customer service to Jennifer at reception. You were so welcoming, listened and made the whole experience so much better. Thank you
Terrible hotel - look elsewhere. The whole place, including rooms, is very run down.
It all started poorly at check-in, where a tall, balding gentleman with glasses yelled out ‘next’ (no pleasantries) to successive guests waiting in the queue.
Carpets in the room were filthy, beer bottle caps on the balcony, hair and yellow stains on the pillow cases, and the toilet was on an angle (fitted to the wall this way!). Buffet breakfast underwhelming, and they charge extra for a barista made coffee.
We sadly paid over $200 a night (during the week) and came away bitterly disappointed.
Just spent a lovely 2 days at the rendezvous hotel in Scarborough.
I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday.
Thanks so much to everyone who looked after me.
Nice rooms clean good beds great breakfast. Helpful front desk. Great pool and location reasonably priced.
Location was great, so was the staff. BUT when you walk into a bathroom with a fresh turf in the pan, you worry about the cleaning crew. The place needs a good makeover.
Decent hotel, rooms are a little dated but perfectly clean. Many things can be forgiven for the truly spectacular views.
Was here for a week long conference stay and it was a really relaxing place to be for it! Location is lovely, the rooms are a good size with beautiful views and the shower pressure/temp was fantastic. Got really comfortable during my stay.
Having to wait in line to be checked in for ages made it super frustrating but other than that the beach views are beautiful, the pool is lovely and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back again in the future!
IMO, this hotel is in best location in Perth and could be WA. It's old age but look fit and young, the structure, design, safety and facilities plus surroundings are in high class side. The management is very good. Just put a bit more smiles at the front desk, all ll be fine.
We absolutely love staying here.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Josh at the front desk went above and beyond recently when we were there for our honeymoon.
He really blessed us and we can’t thank him enough for being so kind to us.
The rooms are beautiful and clean.
We have stayed so many times now it’s like our second home.
The ocean views are so amazing and it really does good like medicine to breathe in that salt air. Highly recommend.

Very average service. Check in took over an hour and once my wife reached the desk the staff member took her driver's licence and disappeared with no explanation for over 20mins (we think this was due to us being from SA during covid times even though we had been in the state for over 2 weeks already, with the proper clearances) She returned with a grumpy "here's your room key" instead of a "sorry about the wait". Once in the room it was set up as two single beds when asked for a double bed. We have now requested from reception help with the WiFi 3 times and the problem is still not fixed. All the while paying over $300 for 1 nights stay. It's a joke. Do not stay here one of the worst hotels I've been to.
My partner and I ate here for the buffet lunch on fathers day this year. It was fantastic, George and Sarfine took such good care of us and helped make out experience memorable. I honestly can't thank them enough. Our little boy was being uncharacteristically crazy and they were always there with crayons and smiles for him. I felt like the luckiest dad in the world and I hope I can get a booking for mothers day. The good was also exquisite, the seafood was so fresh it was still wiggling and the gnocci was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!
U have to line up for ages to get breakfast and then when you have finally made it to the promised land. You are greeted with empty pots and basic and I mean basic stuff that they can't even fill it in.
Oh yeah guess what you are getting charged for a coffee regardless if the breakfast was inclusive some how coffee is an optional extra. I have to admit it was a good coffee though.
Rooms are basic. Entertainment on offer is just free to air TV. It's clean.
Anyways the location and potential is There however management and the overall business model is what's lacking.
A good Reno and a new way of doing things could see this place become an iconic perth hotel.
Staff member Palo or something along those lines is rude as will never stay here again. He needs to be fired immediately threatened to call security on my when i told him he is wrong
Fire this mouth breather.
When we checked in we were served by a lovely lady, Ace. Very efficient, polite and professional. Excellent customer service.
Loved everything about our stay here, it was clean perfectly, staff polite an very friendly, food awesome, rates exactly wot u pay for! Great aervice, great people, awesome atmosphere, ticks all the boxes.
Booked the premier thinking it would be nicer but the only difference is what floor your on so we had a nice view
What an amazing place to stay for a relaxing getaway right in Perth! Absolutely incredible and will definitely stay here again. You have so many restaurants to choose from right around the hotel and not for from the shopping centre. Staff were friendly and the room was amazing and beds were comfy. It was the best hotel we've ever stayed at and would highly recommend coming here.
Nice hotel nice location incredibly rude staff (Palo or something along those lines) was the rudest and worst hotel staff member I have ever dealt with anywhere in the world. Won't be back until he is sacked
