I was really excited to come see remida as I work in childcare and there are a few things I was hoping to get for my toddler friends. I saw they were open today (23/9/23) on Saturday and I came at 10.30, and it's not the easiest to get to from my place and when I got here there was a closed sticker over the sign on there door and I was really quite disappointed as I drove a while to get here for them to be closed yet it says on there website and google that they are open on Saturdays from 8-12

I have been the centre a few years now, still a great recycling centre with large amount of materials for variety projects, creative ideas displayed there and sustainability workshops for schools.

Remida repurposes leftover products from companies. This is a very useful resource for teachers and creative projects especially for students. I have come here for years and been able to find many amazing gens

Brilliant organisation collecting industrial offcuts and offering them to schools, daycares and artists alike. A hugely underutilized opportunity for business to lower the landfill output in a creative and meaningful way.

Depends what you need but all I needed was there for next term fabrics for textile activities in art and soft fly wire for sewing, card cut up for book marks. Lots of other treasures to use as well as tapping sticks for sound exploration etc.

Remida is such an amazing place and my 4 year old loves to go “treasure hunting” there. We always find lots of fun stuff to craft with and it teaches her important lessons about recycling. The staff are always helpful. It’s hard to believe that an annual membership is so cheap. Thanks very much Remida.

An inspiring place. I filled my car boot and came away with fantastic ideas from the art exhibition going on there. Sustainability at work.
