Reg Bond Reserve reviews
26 Wow,
This is a seriously stunning walk!
I'm so glad my new house is close by, I will be here a lot. The walk is about 3.5km in length I think and then you can just loop back. Beautiful sights and wildlife.
I love this reserve. Peaceful walk. Just needs a few more rubbish bins along the walk or people need to carry them and find bins, have noticed people leaving their doggy bags on the side of the paths. Other then that, fav place to walk my dog.
Nice gentle walking track on paved walkway some portion of which are along the Swan River.
Stunning walk along the river with the pooch. Great big grassed area with BBQs and picnic tables scattered about. Could use a small restroom but a really beautiful spot on the water.
It’s a nice park with a variety of interesting spots for different activities. There are paved walking trails, open grass fields, easy access to the river etc. Watch out for bull ants though. If you’re a photographer you can get a variety of landscapes, either of the river or the fields nearby. For bird photography, you’re better off going down to the wetlands on the Ray Marshall Park side. I’ve always found plenty of parking spaces in the car park. The biggest negative is that there are no toilets on the Viveash end of the park.
Lovely walk. Pram friendly. Walk along river. Lots of wildlife. I always walk to see the sunrise Cafe nearby for breakfast and kids playground. Plenty of parking
Quiet, picturesque and on the banks of Swan River. Bring a bbq, picnic and your bathers or fishing gear and come enjoy the calm and serenity.
Absolutely love this place, but would like to see people displaying more courteous dog walking techniques when it comes to having their dog off lead. Don't just allow your dog to run up to other dogs without warning or permission from other owners. Just because your dog is friendly doesn't give you the right to allow them to rush up to other dogs, This behavior is not acceptable and disruptive.
Highly recommended for a walk in a scenic and beautiful setting. Pathways for joggers. View of the Swan River, Native Birds of many species.
Great spot for the dogs to have a swim chasing sticks and balls etc. Would be great if City of Swam would green their public open space. This spot would be beautiful if it was green grass! Has a spot for BBQ although we didn't use this so unsure what it's like.
Love this spot, so peaceful and beautiful views along the river, good well maintained pathways and lots of seats scattered along the way.
Awesome park with track that weaves next to the river down to Woodbridge kids park.
Be great in summer with a tree set up as a swing and jumping platform.
Love to take my young boys here for bike rides and to walk the dog.
It's less busy up this end, and more picturesque.
There's nice benches and tables along the way, places to kick a ball. However bikes also share the path so stay alert.
Great place to bring the family have a picnic or take the dog for a walk, pathways are really well maintained, however because of the recent rain (August) parts of the reserve are severely flooded and quite damp.
Easy parking, wheelchair accessible ramp also available.
It's still a nice place, but some exercise equipment along the full length of the walk would be interesting.
Great spot for kicking the ball around the waters edge, even riding a bike down along the river, ample space to run around, great photo spots, needs toilets and gas bbq facilities and some covered spots for picnics on the lawns.
We discovered this place quite by accident and decided to start our bike ride from there. It is a lovely place to go walking or bike riding with young children because it was pretty quiet. Also a good place to throw a ball for your pooch.
It was a very family friendly place that had many attractions such as winery horses and places to bike and walk right next to the river
A very long, big and peaceful area. Perfect for games of cricket, soccer, baseball, etc. The calm waters by the foot path is stunning with its beauty. I would definately recommend this area.
