Took the cliff sunset cruise on 31/10. Enjoyed it very much. 16 people were on board, so had good visibility all around. Here's some good to know: sit on the right side at the end as you get on board, this will give you the best view of the cliffs. There is some sea spray so be prepared to get a little wet, nothing excessive though. It's very very blowy this time of year, I had a head scarf which covered my ears.perfect. I also had a warm jacket because I feel the cold. It was choppy with relatively small 1 metre swells, but his nibs, who usually gets sea sick, was fine. Food and drinks are not provided but because of the ocean swell on the day, those that brought snacks found eating tricky. We saw a whale on the way back - bonus. Note also that the cruise won't sail without a minimum of 8 people so it helps to be flexible with your time if possible, for instance, we booked for Sunday but didn't sail till Tues evening.

If you are seeking a jaw-dropping adventure on the shore of Kalbarri, the Reefwalker Ocean discovery Tours are an absolute must! This experience is nothing short of magical, from the moment you step aboard the boat.

The crew’s passion and knowledge are infectious and they expertly guide you to where the giant of the ocean dwell. The sighting of humpback whales -and calf plus dolphins, we had it all, and is simply awe-inspiring.

The breathtaking coastal scenery and the whales graceful displays make for an unforgettable backdrop. This tour is an ethical and educational experience, highlighting the importance of conserving our marine treasures.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic and highly recommended cruise.

I can’t wait to do it again.

Whales Wow! Such a privilege to be part of Reefwalker Ocean Discovery’s first whale cruise of the season. Reefwalker is clean, spacious and comfortable vessel with a variety of great viewing positions. The Humpback whales were a plenty. They put on a great show, spy hops, pectoral slaps as well as up close encounters as they gently glided under us all. Magic! We loved the BYO setup for refreshments and were able to reach for an ‘icy one’ between whale breaches. We enjoyed a calm afternoon of whale discovery, followed by the sunset cliff cruise. The booking process was simple with a prompt and comprehensive reply. We love supporting local business and Ayden and his crew are a credit to Kalbarri. Sunny, relaxed, personable, competent with generous real life long knowledge of all that Kalbarri offers beyond the shore. Quality tourism.

Sunset cruise was great. We were super lucky with weather as the next 3 days looks like gale force winds but I still saw the boat go out! Be prepared to hold on
BYO available + super chill cruise and informative one

Simply amazing to go out on "Reef Walker" on Friday 20th January 2023, to pull craypots in the morning. A beautiful sunrise, calm seas, awesome Captain and Deckie. Thoroughly enjoyed all the interaction with very knowledgeable and Sustaining information about the crayfishing industry. Fully, 100% recommend this trip for all the family.

Thankyou Bruce and Dolphie. Keep doing what you guys do best, quality, quantity and over 30 years of local ocean experience.

Unreal, Must do if you find yourself in Kalbarri.
- Only $50 per person.
- Tour wasn’t rushed and the guid was knowledgeable and pointed out some awesome spots we later visited.
- BYO with an esky you could put you’re drinks in.
- Website was easy to navigate.
Can’t recommend the sunset tour enough.

It was an ok experience one side of the boat got to see it all, the other missed out as the boat always put the one side to the whales. Boat was good, just needed to make it a little more fair for all, because those on the left side immediately stood up when a whale was sighted and no one else could see through them or around them, and it was a large swell which made moving around a little dangerous. If the boat shared both sides to the whales then it would be more fair especially when spotted on the right side boat turned to the left disadvantaging those seated on the right that spotted the whale.

Very accommodating, great staff. Super enjoyable. Took the family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with Reefwalker. Seen dolphins, whales, sharks and pulled plenty of Cray's. Great value for $$$. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Aiden and his crew. Went for the rock lobster tour. Really informative showing us the ropes of thr trade. Side note: those prone to seasickness, I do recommend taking a seasick tablet before heading out to open ocean.

We went on a sunst cruise which provided a spectacular sunset. The crew were great very safety conscious and informative. So although we have been visiting Kalbarri for years we learnt some useful tips about Kalbarri including safe swimming spots. We caught some good surfing action and had plenty of time to view and photograph the red cliffs. Another highlight was seeing whales playing together definitely a mum and baby in the group. Just amazing. Thanks guys for a great sunset cruise.

I have done quite a few fishing charters and the day out with Aydan and Rob was up there with the best of memorable days fishing. I loved the early start time 5 AM as we were anchored and fishing at sunup in 56 metres of water. The guys were so efficient and well drilled in keeping everyone's line tight and fishing on a tidy and well organised boat. We all got our quota of Demersal as well as some large Pelagics to share from Trolling. An early season whale breaching was a awesome sight and 3 Rock Lobsters each to take home finished the day off nicely. I highly recommend these guys for a great days fishing.

We what can say, we booked a sunset cruise and had such a great time, the staff were excellent, organised and professional, made us feel relaxed with some light humour from the captain (business owner), and confident handling of the boat through the mouth of the river into open water. It was obvious that the crew were well experienced. We enjoyed it so much we booked the whale watching cruise for the next before we'd even arrived back from the sunset cruise. 10 out of 10.

It was Ok, The sea was very choppy, however the there was very little commentary on where we were & the lady speaking was clear to the people sitting near her but people sitting far were hard of hearing. A bottle of water would have gone a long way as you had to bring your own drinks & they served a small biting of crab which some people don't eat so a little catering for Vegans would have been appreciated
