Ramen Ichiraku

Absolutely the worst in Perth! At least from my experience last evening.

The broth is burnt with certain days, hope not month, of history. They said the burnt is from the pork, but i know its not.

I kindly suggested they make a new broth, and the lady rolled her eyes while she didn't know my background. What a mistake!

Not to mention that they tried their best to keep people waiting outside until your full team arrived and ordered before you took the seat. So, can't add an extra order later? I know it will look nicer for your business with a queue outside ALL THE TIME, even with 50% of occupancy.

Oh, btw, if you take ubereat orders before the dine-in customers, please let us know. And actually, you don't have to, as we won't revisit.

Food taste was disappointing. I have been to many other Ramen places, but taste here was not at all to the point as it was depicted in the description.

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, and great customer service. Would recommend going for the ramen.

Would be a 5 star, food and service was great, the only reason I'd go 4 instead of 5 was they were out of the "level 4" or "level 5" heat Red Dragon Ramen

It’s a bit wired that there is only menu available at the entrance but the ordering experience is yet quite smooth. We ordered the Truffle Tonkasu, Curry Tonkasu and gaoyza, every dish is tasting good. The staff is friendly too.

I came here from friend’s recommendation. 2.5/5 for the ramen because it was eatable but not the best. Soup is less thicker and less flavourful than places like Hakata Ramen or Bariuma in Perth. Almost like they’ve poured water and diluted the soup a little too much. The noodle and Chashu was so basic. Ramen wasn’t bad but you have better options in Perth if you feel like spending your money for Japanese ramen.

We ordered the Signature Ramen and the Tan Tan Ramen. I don’t know what’s so “signature” about it though.

Great food, wife had a tonkatsu that was great and had a nice creamy broth, i had the dragon which had a nice spicy broth l

Not bad ramen, quite and hidden off the main strip.

Came out quick and was very nice, would of been nice if there was table condiments and stuff as well.

Very strange ordering method, where the menu is outside and you need to look at it first before you enter, then your order is taken at the door, then you sit down - seems very awkward.

Maybe it’s how they get people through quicker.

The food was very good and it reminded me of the anime series Naruto. I didn't like that they wanted to charge me for everything and to be able to eat in the place I had to consume a minimum. In the end we did take away because we only wanted to try a couple of things and not each eat a huge amount of food.

Ok ramen, pork a bit tough. And staff welcome was kind but weird. Only menu is outside, must order at the table before you’re allowed to sit down.

Fantastic place for ramen! They also have special offers on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We went on a Wednesday and got free extra noodles. Chicken karrage is delicous.

The place is small, everyone in your group is required to be present before you're seated, which is a bit if a hassle for big groups unless its well coordinated. They don't do reservations, but we've made it work with groups of 7 to 11 people.

While you wait for the seat outside, its a good idea to peruse the menu before being seated because the orders were taken before seating (this was likely an adaptation due to covid times).

The vegan food is flavourful, with well seasoned broths and the mockmeats artfully made. A delight to dine in as always. Highly recommend the vegan fried chicken.

I had a take away dinner with my family we all enjoyed our meals which were brought out to us very quickly. We were very happy with the experience.

Always delicious, fast and well priced. Staff are friendly and explain the ordering process well. A little bit of a walk from the cbd but definitely worth it

The food at Ramen Ichiraku is delicious. They have a completely separate regular and vegan menu. I have eaten Shoyu Truffle ramen, Vegan Red Dragon ramen, Vegan Cheeseburger Gyoza and regular Vegan Gyoza, and they are full of flavour. Meals come out quickly.

This business takes COVID 19 and social distancing very seriously. To stop people from handling menus, they have two big screens outside with the menu, so you can look at all the options there, then you go inside and the host will put your order into an iPad. They also have app check in, hand sanitiser and when Perth is under COVID restrictions, they will take your temperature.

Normal ramen pricing. Roughly 17 for a bowl with egg, meat and black fungus.

Good ramen but nothing special. It taste average, would be a good choice for a quick meal. Soup was nice but for the spicy ramen, the soup can be a bit too salty for some.

Service (5/5)
Good customer service, very polite and friendly staff and food came quickly as well.

Atmosphere (5/5)
Clean and neat place but it’s a little small. So do take note if you are coming in large group or peak hours.

The place is pretty hidden around the corner but it has good food. Although there are better ramen out there with similar pricing, it’s still recommended if you are craving for ramen and is somewhere near the area.

Very very bad service. Went for birthday dinner of 16 year old. They didn't let us in as we were waiting for 1 more person to arrive and it was cold outside. Restaurant wasn't full at all. We were happy to order in advance for other person as well. Ridiculous. This is not Japanese culture at all. You guys are shame on Japanese hospitality and culture.

Ordered the Vegan Kaarage chicken bento box from uber eats and it was incredibly tasty! So hard to find places that sell vegan fried chicken and I was very impressed with my meal. Portion size for $19 was also very worth it! If you’re vegan and missing a Japanese classic, this is the place to go ️

Food was great and easy to eat! I really loved their creaming soda that was home made that really hit the spot. Well so did the ramen!
