Ramada Resort by Wyndham Dunsborough

OVERALL VERY DISAPPOINTING
This property is going through an ongoing refurbishment, our experience was tradespeople, building rubble & noise.
We were given a “so called” refurbished unit. The floorcoverings & some curtains look new with selections made resulting in the interior looking like a Chalet in a Caravan Park. No update of any of the deteriorating cabinets in the kitchen. The blinds not replaced are old corroded fittings and difficult to operate. Old outdated outdoor furniture.
There has been NO replacement of large or small appliances or bedding. The kitchen equipment is very limited. There is seating in the living area for 3 people in a unit described as for 6 people. The seating is not opposite the old TV that does not swivel. The fridge is very undersized for a 6 person unit.
The bathroom newly install shower takes up Half the small bathroom area, no place around the hand basin for putting things & no bathroom storage, hanging rail for one bath towel, again in a unit for 6 people. It is necessary to keep the door open to have sufficient space to dry oneself.
Very noisy from road traffic. Noisy inefficient heating/air conditioner.
The property WiFi does not work, we had to use our mobile data during our stay. The only TV that works in the free to air, the screen goes black at times from connection interruptions. Some free to air channels are not tuned in therefore, not available. The movie selection is very old and painfully slow to react. Maintenance was not able to rectify the WiFi & TV issues during our week stay.
The restaurant is open 5 evenings a week, NOT breakfast or lunch and has a very limited menu, basic & expensive.
Could not recommend, plenty of other options in the area.

This was a weird one. Check in was marvellous. Very professional onto it lady. Rooms. A lot of spiders. I killed 6 on night one. We had a tv issue, called through to the desk, yes yes a man will be out. Never came. Restaurant only opens at 4.30. Cant get a good coffee. Bbq area. Bbq missing buttons and in bad shape. Still worked. Tennis court is not regulation. Low net. Its not a bad place, but not for me.

We enjoyed our stay at Club Wyndham. Excellent for families. The kids enjoyed the pool and having the beach so close. Great service. Will definitely be back for our next summer holiday.

We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary here and happy we did so. Staff are all so warm and genuinely nice. Very thoughtful in surprising us with a couple of gifts too over our 4 night stay.
The room is spacious with King bed, nice size TV, air con, balcony views of gardens full of butterflies and bush setting that hides a short walk to the beach.
Swimming pool was great for a lazy day although parents ignore the 'no alcohol' and 'no jumping/diving' signs with most letting their children do bombie after bombie with no consideration for how other people might want to experience their hard earned holiday they (We) paid for. (Not the staff fault).
We have enjoyed our stay here.

This is beautiful resorts got beautiful beaches all to yourself.hotel have excellent facility.home away from home.nice clean. Beautiful pool arer. BBQ arer and sports facility plus friendly stuff. I recommend for this hotel

I had some good friends recently got married and booked a room at this hotel as their honeymoon destination for a week. Today they told me about their experience and it was dishearting and absolutely shocking to hear a newly married couple story and for them to show photos of the room they were going to stay in.

1) Bathrooms had mould, floor was filthy and basin in the bathroom was dirty
2) Bed was not stripped and new sheets were put on when they arrived.and to make things worse, the lounge and carpets was covered in serum marks. Absolute disgusting. I was absolutly horrified and I told them they should take it further. Not to mentioned the high price to stay here. I'm glad that you refunded all the monies. This should be sent stright to the health department and your license revoked for not adequatly cleanning the room.disgusting.

Azure Villa the 1st house on the right next to the Ramada hotel. Paid $ 5554.00 for 6 nights for just a house! No plush or luxury but priced at rates the Pullman charges. Way over priced for an ordinary house.

2. Riddled with spiders my daughter is afraid of.
3. Outside bare and bricked area. Dead plants. Spiders and cobwebs all over.
4. Non microwave proof dinnerware. Too few and stained cutlery.
4. Just 1 bath towel each.
5. Dirty carpet in living room.
6. Just a boring house l- no holiday vibe.
7. Too few pots and mugs.
9. Had to buy a broom and insect spray!
10. Small vacuum not working well for leaves and small white seeds in house

3. Pets allowed but no dog flap.
4. Can use Ramaada facilities- but very disconnected.

Nice outlook and facilities. Welcoming staff and the virtual concierge was very efficient. Planning to go again for the fifth star.

Lovely garden, delicious food - didn't stay there but heard good things about the accommodation

The property is magnificent and recent upgrades have been well chosen.there should be more separate showers.climbing in up over a bath barrier is almost impossible for some of us. The acoustics in the owners lounge are terrible if the sales staff are ever to be effective. Staff are excellent and attentive and are what brings us back.ps all the assistances to get into the shower/ bath are no help at all. See you soon.

Just booked in and it looks and feels fantastic. Nice room with bbq area just a few metres away.

This place is Amazing, was greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. This resort has everything from, pool, spa, access to the beach, we came down to do some fishing, and was told the Jetty is the place to go.
I love this place and don't want to go home, even tho we just arrived today.
It's safe and secure, clean and tidy, nice little quiet space and the out from Perth hustle and grind.

ROOM 5104 is ground floor, next to restaurant, pool, spa, walk to the beach.
Sleeps up to 6 guests.
2 bedroom.
If you ever come here book this room you will love how close to everything it is, even the carpark space is right out your front door.

Toby's Restaurant does a wonderful Pina Volada and their desert was fabulous. I had the seafood parpadelle as well but forgot to take a picture but, it was fantastic. Will be definitely be ordering it again. Ramada is wonderful. I highly recommend it - just do it!

Fairly ok stay. Has a nice restaurant with a fireplace. Good food but very understaffed. The rooms are to the standard and the landscaping is quite nice to look around throughout the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed the stay

We spent 5 wonderful days at Ramada Dunsborough with 4 of our children and 4 grandsons. We had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful grounds, the beach on the doorstep, the restaurant, the spa, the pool, the BBQs, the playground, the kayaks, and so many things to explore close-by. The management and staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a fantastic holiday.

Fantastic grounds and very friendly and helpful staff. Room was beautifully presented. Fantastic stay.

Wonderful resort and excellent Toby's restaurant which delivers food to our palate such as Kangaroo.

Awesome stay disappointed as there was no buffet breakfast.but still you can solve that easily.good stay.fantastic location.thanks

This resort is supposed to be one of the best Wyndham offers but I cannot agree. More people are travelling as friends rather than couples, thus the ability to make Queen beds into twins is rather important. Also, I've never stayed in a two bedroom Wyndham resort without two toilets. The sofa beds are uncomfortable and it was more comfortable to sleep on cushions from the sofa on the floor. However, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great resort, lots of facilities, bikes, kayaks, stand up boards, pool, spa, gym. Suite well appointed and a bit dated. Very responsive service.
