RAC Arena reviews
64Super good & cool amazing arena. It is a good place for many events, such as concerts & Wildcats basketball games. You can take the train to Perth, then walk to RAC Arena OR get the Yellow cat outside Perth station and go 2 stops down wellington st. Although, the yellow CAT Does take a little bit of time, as there is quite alot of traffic on Wellington Street.
Attended a Perth Wildcats game here. It was terrific! An incredible atmosphere, the participation was infectious (and I've never been to a basketball game in my life). The staff were very friendly. There's a security check to get in, but the queue moves quickly enough so that you don't have to actually stop. Toilets were nice and clean and there's plenty of them, so the usual ladies' line is kept to a minimum. Seats were comfy enough with a thoughtful drinks holder in front. I saw several people with mobility aids being dropped off right by the entrance, so it's definitely accessible. Was nice and cool inside too. Lovely venue.
It's hi-tech, it's great for all different types of entertainment. Sports, stand-up comedy, music concerts. But damn I it ugly.
Be aware when you are parking your car at arena on events days.
They only display the signs underground and at the gate, so you may easily miss them.
I have been parking at arena for few years and yet one day I walk to my car realising that I have to pay extra $30 just because I passed the deadline by few minutes. There were a lot of vacant spaces when I was leaving the parking as well.
I still believe there was no signs displayed on the day that I was charged, as I always look for them.
Cirque du Soleil Chrystal show, great story, acrobatics, venue. We are looking forward for many more to come.
Service from the staff was above and beyond, I went there with my disabled granddaughter, the staff were amazing
Finally enjoyed an event here, and I have to say I was impressed. From the seating, it's not that comfy, but honestly, it's not bad either compared to other stadiums (I say this because I was fine, but my friend struggled a bit). I love that it's not a huge tight squeeze, for myself, plenty of room (I'm 160cm tall, size 12-14). Loved the cup holders! Bonus points on those! Toilets were well provided, although huge lines, if you weren't quick. Food and drink was expensive as expected, but well made/provided. Overall great stadium to go to for shows/games!
It's nice and neat. Small arena but well maintained and signed. Large parking spots, easy to walk and drive. Food is overpriced, of course. But that's the way it is. Staff is really good as well. Access to public transport is also OK. Traffic after events is clogged but could could be worse.
I used to work there popped in to catch up and say hello. Great to see the venue still looking good.
Great venue. Convenient location. Very easy to find yr seat, and leave quickly at the end of the show. Clean facilities
Visited *synthony* at RAC arena and I was amazed by the sound! Great location - walking distance from bus/train station.
The only disadvantage - bar is swamped with people (unless you arrive 30 min prior the show). Awesome place for music
Christmas Spectacular 21 was on at RAC Arena last night. The Arena was very clean. I noticed some people had trouble finding their seats but it wasn't a problem for us.
Great venue,
Typical over priced mid strength drinks, instead of full strength.
Due to a few ruining it for the many
Good venue drinks are a bit overpriced. They would win more bee's with honey than they do with overpriced golden syrup.
Just peaking! No need to walk a mile for facilities, catering for a large crowd was well planned with food & drink stations sparodically placed around the venue, the security were polite & helpful. The seats were the only hassle, pretty uncomfortable. I suppose we can't have everything or can we. Thanks to RAC ARENA & MURDOCH UNIVERSITY FOR A SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION EVENT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
Decent music venue if you get in the right spot in relation to speakers. Lots of food and drink locations so if you’re lucky you won’t need to queue long. Also the conference spaces on ground floor are pretty good and have an enclosed bar.
Opened in 10 November 2012 to replace the Perth Entertainment Centre (PEC) Which was closed in 2002 and demolished in 2011, it has a capacity up to 15,500. It has the state-of-the-art design in and outside the arena which makes it look very unique and interesting, it holds all events from sporting events like Perth WildCats NBL to concerts.:)
The One Big Voice was great. The children obviously really enjoy it and its lovely to see so many.
Great place. Thoroughly enjoyed Martyn Iiles event, talking about TRUTH.
Great acoustics.
Well managed to get crowd seated in time but refreshments offered by Murdoch University at function was poorly organised
