Raani Palace reviews
40We had the most disappointing experience at the Raani Palace after years of trying Indian restaurants across Perth. We ordered the night's special goat curry and mixed vegetable curry with some naan and roti. While the goat curry was mediocre, but the mixed veg curry was just a mix of big chucky pieces of vegetables steamed and served. When we raised this with the staff they acted indifferent. Very pricey menu for tasteless and unauthentic food. Giving one star as zero star is not an option.
I love this curry place. I spend years looking for a top quality curry place in Eastern Suburbs. This place opened last year and at last, we have one.
Amazing Indian food! So tasty and very friendly service. So lucky to have his place close to home.
This restaurant deserves to be known! Every dish I've had has been divine. The staff is made up of a wonderful family who are friendly and welcoming. You may wait a little for your dishes but the wait is worth it for the quality of the dishes. Full of flavour, with a mastery of spice combination. A MUST
The most delicious food, full of flavour, fresh ingrediants and cooked to perfection. Staff are amazingly friendly, great service.
Thank you so much.
I woke up craving Indian food, found this little place the smells were mouthwatering. We got home and found out our butter chicken was all sauce with about six small bits of chicken, and our lamb was about the same. The flavours were fantastic bit lacked meat
Honestly the most amazing Indian restaurant I've had the pleasure of eating at. The menu is small but absolutely perfected. Every dish we've tried is unpretentious and executed fantastically. The prices and serving sizes are also right on the money. Would highly recommend the korma and vindaloo. Since my partner and I realised how good Raani Palace is, we've been getting dinner here at least once a fortnight.
You won't regret trying this place. Supported local and picked up a takeaway. If stars were the number of times I said "yum" throughout the meal, we would be welcoming a new milky way.
Really reasonably priced meals and so frickin saucy & tasty
Will become the "go to" Indian place for us. Beef Madra was amazing! Best I've tasted. Butter chicken on point.
Exceptional good and family friendly, this is a real hidden gem in Bassendean. A+ must try.
Was recommended by a friend to try this cute little Indian restaurant and it did not disappoint! The curries were all delicious but the garlic naan was phenomenal, one of the best Ive had to date. It was light fluffy and just the right amount of garlic butter. This place is conveniently BYO and food portions were great value for money. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
This place makes incredible food and the owners are lovely. We’ve tried quite a few dishes and all have been superb.
Absolute ridiculous. Hardly any chicken or lamb put in dishes, most of it was sauce. I agree with the other reviewer.
Lovely and accommodating owner and staff.
Our first dining experience here was one month ago, on a busy Saturday night. We had just selected our order: Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Ghosht, Basmati rice and pappadums, when a blackout occurred due to a storm. It left the whole street in darkness, including the restaurant.
The staff approached us with candles for our table, and ensuring us that our meal would still be cooked, as the kitchen had gas appliances.
Sure enough, our meal came, and it was fantastic.
We've since been back, and dined in also, with electricity this time!
Excellent food at a very reasonable price, one of the best Indian restaurants we've been to in Perth, highly recommend! Super recommend their naan and their butter chicken - one of the best we've had here.
Absolutely love Raani’s. The food and service is excellent and it’s becoming a weekly event to dine here! I love the simplicity and quality and authentic family service 10/10!
Really good. Lamb Karahi was nice and hot but not overbearing. The garlic naan was hard to taste garlic in ut but great for mopping up the great sauce in the dish
Very expensive for 5 pieces of meat in a lot of sauce. Flavour is delicious so it’s a shame it’s overpriced with very small portions
We have been searching for a delicious Indian take away around our area and found one tonight. Really yummy, hot and full of flavour. The value for money was outstanding. Will definitely make this our regular from now.
I was told by a friend to try the curries at Raani Place in Bassendean. We ordered our first takeaway on Tuesday and it was everything a good curry should be. We ordered Butter Chicken which was delicious, the sauce was excellent. The Pilau rice was lovely along with the tasty Garlic Naan and the Aloo Palek was very flavoursome. It is clearly a family business and husband and wife were so pleasant. The small resturant was very clean and neat. Definately will be going back for more and will highly recommend to all my friends. Its lovely to have such a resturant as this in Basso.
I had a chicken tikka masala curry from this restaurant today and that was fabulous, after so long i had something like home made chicken with good flavours. Thanks
