Quobba Station reviews
42Overpriced for unpowered sites with no views. Not allowed to fish on the beach. Bad info from the office. Go further up the road or stop back at the blowholes.sorry but thats the truth. 25 is fair but 44 cmon
Loved our stay here - we were lucky enough to get a campsite up on the dune overlooking the water
As owner of wooramulla Eco Cultural Journeys we stayed at Quobba recently and was extremely impressed with Quobba Station
They are nestled amongst the most amazing coastline with by far the most magnificent views
Camping here was a welcoming break from travelling for days
Amenities were above standard camp areas for all levels of camping and vehicles.
Owner Tim is a Top bloke who welcomed our crew and his staff were so friendly and helpful.
Overall a wonderful time was had at Quobba.
Stayed in our caravan so not sure about the rooms. We could see whales nearly all day from the beach. See a pod of dolphins.
A must do stop on your way along the WA Coast.
Quobba Station has a relaxed feel. They run off a generator so power is limited. Stunning views of the coast line and whale watching. Snorkelling at the Aquarium is a must, it is safe and easily accessible from the beach, just be aware of the current that washes in over the reef.
The blowholes were really blowing when we were there. Bring your camera.
Quobba station has a beautiful and well maintained homestead. Tim and Sara are incredibly helpful and friendly. Visited on a fishing trip and was very impressed by the homestead and operation.
We ended up at the station after we couldnt get into the campground. I guess they're in a good spot to capitalise on people not being able to get into the camp ground, but we paid $22 per person per night to stay in the unpowered camping ($44 total) which we thought we a bit steep
Station staff are super friendly and the location is pretty great. They have chairs set up all along the dunes to watch the sunset and the rock pools are bloody awesome (we saw heaps of crabs and even an octopus). The drop toilets are very clean, no smell at all and very quirky doors (first time we've loved a toilet). The showers are also great, nice and warm and super spacious.
All in all, pretty great, just thought the pricing was a bit meh
Perfect camping in nature! Basic but it would have everything you needed. Very nice owners. The beach and the surroundings were awesome. I loved it!
Absolutely love this place. Great camping experience with plenty of toilets and showers as amenities. Long drps also available. All amenites are cleaned daily and wouldn't complain about a thing. The hosts can't do enough to make you comfortable. Betty & Bob are amazing.
Highly recommend Quobba Station. Beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, spotless bathrooms. Betty & Bob are very welcoming and accommodating.
Special shout out “Betty is the Bomb”
Thank you for a memorable stay.
Booked powered site for 5 nights in October. Nobody tell you that They switching power of between 10 30 and 5 00pm. Not happy Jen!
We stayed at red bluff, over priced and dirty run down camping area not worth the drive
Staff very rude and not welcoming
100 times better beaches at coral bay
Infested with mice, bats and cockroaches.overpriced and sharks eat all your fish.besides that beautiful sunsets.
Definitely too expensive for what you expect.you don't even have normal water in the kitchen, it's just sea water.pay more if you want to have a view on the ocean.
I booked and paid a deposit, 3 months later I was sent an email to say prices had increased, approx 60% and I could pay extra or have my deposit refunded
Very very disappointing!
As others already mentioned really not recommendable. 40$ for an unpowered campsite that’s not even nice… 10$ more if you want a view (still unpowered tho) not really a lot of privacy. At night the toilets are COVERED in cockroaches and yes they will crawl up your leg if you don’t pay attention. Light in the toilet also goes out at some point in the night. For the extra thrill with the cockroaches.the kitchen is very basic no tools or anything. We tried making coffee with the water provided but it’s saltwater and there is not even a sign that you can’t use it for drinking… very much not worth it. Especially when there is another campground just down the road for 8$ a night. Don’t listen to the other reviews this is honest. Don’t ruin your vacation.
Amazing spot to camp and really friendly hosts at the homestead. You’ll regret not paying the extra $5 for the ocean view! Well worth it.
Fantastic location to stay! Just back after staying 4 days! Fantastic amenities for an outback experience. Tim and Sarah have catered for most needs. Betty does an amazing job at making sure that you have a great stay! My friend and I stayed at the sheers quarters with a group of 10 and it was amazing. The comunal kitchen has most of items one needs on a holiday! Showers are hot if all have recommended short and sharp showers! In the sheers quarters we played games together, we cooked and eat together also went exploring together ️! ! One can use Quobba as a place to go anywhere from there! I will be back! A 4WD car is preferred but I still managed to go anywhere with my 2WD! To have a great experience here please remember it is an outback station, then follow the rules of the place! "
Very nice spot but swimming was underwhelming and you need serious equipment if you want to fish off the cliffs.
Great station! We visited in Dec so was very windy and beach was rough but in the middle of the year we imagine it is amazing! The amenities were really really good! Worth staying a night or two here!
