Peaceful bushland setting, great amenities and ecologically sound. A great place to stay and great hosts.

I’ve never enjoyed a more peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Be aware it is totally environmentally friendly. You won’t get the 5star comfort. But you will not find a more beautiful place. You’re hosts are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you take advantage of paying extra for a meal in the homestead. The atmosphere is incredible.

Wonderfull stay in the self contained chalet for 3 nights (only booked 2 nights, we were lucky and could extend for another night). We had dinner organised, the small kitchen got everything you need for a easy dish. (Nothing around here so better bring your food/ Drinks). Bush walks, friendly and helpful host, no internet and no noise/ light in the night. Wild Life everywhere around you.

Steamed in history such hardship to endure. I don't think people of today could cut irmt there!

This place is fabulous, accommodation in the 2 bedroomed chalet was faultless. Very private and the birds song the only noise. Could not believe the variety of flora, from oranges to purple the sight was amazing. Even a late flowering Quaalup Bell. Fitzgerald River National Park is scenic and Point Ann stunning.
A canoe trip on Devils Creek is a must, so peaceful and relaxing.
Karin and Carsten are perfect hosts, thank you.
Will be back soon

Quaalup Homestead is an amazing place!
Karin and Carsten are so friendly and you can see that they put a lot of love into running the retreat. I’ve never stayed somewhere so quiet and relaxing. The bed was ultra comfortable.
The nature walk and the baby kangaroos were a highlight.
We had dinner in the homestead one night and that was a great experience!
We hope to come back again.

You love nature, you love exclusive beaches, you like it quiet? Simple living like in the olden days. This will be as much your favourite place in the world as it is mine!

Stayed in the self contained chalet 3 nights, had dinner organised for 2. Delicious meals, serene environment, beautiful Bush walks, and incredibly friendly hosts. The bedding was warm and comfortable, the cutlery and crockery all that you wrote need for a regular trip. Showing water was slightly salty, but the drinking water was delicious. We'll sign posted plants on the nature walk path. No Internet and no noise/light pollution.

Really enjoyed the isolation, camp grounds, walks and hospitality of the hosts who went out of their way while we were there. While out of the way, the location is central to many key places to visit in and around Bremer Bay. We'll be back next year

What a wonderful place-right in the National Park, surrounded by nature, birds and kangaroos. Our charming unit had everything we needed, and even a verandah for eating outside. Super comfy beds. The friendly owners gave us heaps of advice on walks and the area. And so quiet here, "off the beaten track" in the best sense. We stayed three nights, could have been longer.

We camped for 6 nights. With only a few camp sites it wasn’t crowded & generally peaceful, lots of birds & native animals. Very friendly hosts which provided good advice about area. Good location for access the National Park & Bremer Bay.

If you look for a calm place with lots of nature and a fantastic view of the milky-way, you are right here. We stayed for a night and enjoyed it. Sooo calm and beautiful.

After discovering Quaalup by accident in 2015, we returned with extended family for a magical 3 days over new year, staying in the cabin. For nature lovers who want to experience peace, tranquility and natural beauty in the Fitzgerald River national park, this is paradise. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, and a nice break from camping. The heritage-listed Homestead Building has a perfect lounge / reading room for residents, which becomes a beautiful candle lit private dining room should you book a three-course meal. Karin and Carsten are also wonderful hosts.
