10I have never experienced customer service like it! I rang up to enquire about a few books which were not in stock and then being pregnant and not wanting to head out during covid I had asked for any other recommendations in the psychological thriller genre to be put aside for my partner to pick up. I didn't think she would be able to but she actually found 3 great books, wrote notes on each of them and even found one of the ones that said out of stock for me in the backroom! Such a lovely girl and the best customer service I have ever received, above and beyond. Her name on the receipt was Eilish-she deserves a raise!
I have only ever had good service with the shop people. They have always been willing to help me.
Luv this shop. Such a huge range of books and lovely staff. They also recycle old books they can't use.
Called ahead of time to see if a book was avaiable. Had it left at the front counter for me and raced to the shop to pick up the book before they closed. Got there at 4: 55 but doors were already closed.
When did shops decide they needed to be packed up and finished by closing time, rather than shutting the doors at closing time. This is one of the reasons people shop online.
Very helpful and attentive staff, more than willing to help me find what I was looking for. Turns out they didn't have it in stock, but they directed me to a store that did, so that's the next best thing. Thank you. It's great that there are still real book stores around. Long may it continue.
Great selection of well priced books and puzzles etc. The lady that helped me really went out of her way.
