Very clean and well run shop.
Prices weren't too bad.
Found the battered snapper a bit dry, will try something else next time.
Recommended.

Great value! Fish and chips for $10 just can’t argue with that. Good serve of chips and a large piece of lightly battered fish. I’ve been to other places with a better quality piece of fish as part of their house fish and chips deal but they’re twice the price. Have plenty of other options around but keep ending up back here for the value, please don’t change.

Shout out to Promenade Fish & Chips.first time going there and let me tell you how awesome they are.
It was 730pm and it was raining heavily and the power was cutting in and out in the whole block (even IGA next door was closed)
Promenade was closing when I arrive but when they saw me they agreed to cook my dinner regardless.they were very clear on what was and wasn't available due to the black outs.
Even so the fish was perfectly cooked and the chips golden and crispy.
Excellent and friendly "extra mile" service would definitely reccomend.

Got 2 pieces of Dory from this place. Tasted good. It was 9 dollars for a piece. Service reasonably fast

Spectacular! We had the Triple Treat. We all enjoyed the meal and the fish was nicely battered and fried and was delicious. The chips had a nice consistency and are great if you want a less salty chip. A great meal for just $35 dollars.

Very disappointing, after reading reviews we decided to try this place. The fish was dry and tough, as if it was "yesterday's" fish, and was inedible, although the batter was fresh. If that's what you get when you order early, we won't be back.

Very happy with tonight's meal, cooked beautifully, not oily, good portion & very reasonably priced topped off with friendly customer service & good wait time.
The only criticism I have is that the fish was a bit thin but tastey.

When the surrounding fish and chips shops let me down, these guys came to the party. Was served quickly on the busiest day of the year.
Generous serving sizes, excellent quality fish and awesome pineapple fritters.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have had over the phone so far. I actually wanted to order more food but the young girl was aggressively rushing me with my order that my anxiety hit a record breaking high. Disappointing. Wonder how the food will be.at this point is doesn’t matter. 20 mins for $5 worth of chips.call back 5 minutes later to order about $30 worth of food. (not even everything I wanted) and was told just another 10.haha I don’t know. I would have waited the extra 5 mins for the welcoming phone call instead

Went there on Boxing day after driving around. All the fish and chips shops near us were closed and I remembered there was one on Grand Prom. Was super impressed. Friendly staff and the fish and chips were not greasy at all. Batter super crispy, hubby complained that the fish fillet was a bit thin for his liking. Highly recommend.

Went Friday evening for firstvtime, shop was clean, plenty of chairs to sit while you wait an outside tabkes and cgair to dine.
Gumm y shark batter was crisp and thin plenty of shark to esst an potsto scallops were nice batter.

Ask for lightly battered super Crispy and delicious. I didn't ask for chips but chips are really good too.we served ours with lemon and remoulade from Elmars. (like a tartar but better) awesome

Delicious fish and chips, the fish was perfectly cooked, the chips crunchy, as was the pineapple fritters/potato scallops. Clean oil, clean shop and friendly service.

Affordable fish and chip shop with fast service - there has never been a time where I have had to wait longer than 15 minutes for my order to be completed. Nice and clean boasting a good selection of fish and other seafood. Chips are not greasy, good average size helpings. Fish always tastes fresh, it's pretty standard fare, no "OMG" moment. If you're looking for something fancy, maybe a suburban fish and chip shop is not your go-to, but if you're looking for an ol' reliable neighbourhood place for battered fish and deep fried chips, well, you can't go wrong with this place.

Been coming here for quite a few years, after going overseas for a good part of a decade thought I'd give an old fave a go.

Great tasty food, friendly staff and they are very good preparing a separate order for my sister who is coeliac. They use separate frier and tongs plus GF batter just be sure to ask for no chicken or regular salt instead if ordering GF.

Great crispy chips always the right amount if salt and generous portion. Worth the spend.

Had fish and chips here for the first time recently, couldn't fault it, everything from the fish to chips, dim Sims, potato scallops, everything was AMAZING, crunchy and fresh, very important that the.oil is fresh. Will be visiting regularly. Brett)

Usually great, i’ve been coming here since the Greek family used to own it. I recommend you do not come on Good Friday and always ask for your fish to be extra cooked
