Posto Matto reviews
43First time here and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Pizza base was just right, not too thick and with some crunch to it, toppings for the meat pizza was fairly generous. Every pasta dishes were absolutely delightful in flavour and cooked to perfection. Although the place became quite busy and it got harder to get staff attention, service was still friendly and lovely. The profiteroles were amazing and definitely a must try dessert:)
My daughter had her baby shower here today. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful or friendly, a credit to the business. Food was delicious and servings were big, great variety to enjoy. Would definitely recommend you give it a try. Thank you for great service, delicious food and a day to remember.
Outstanding venue, great food, great service. Chef is amazing. If you like really good Italian, get down there.
Came in yesterday and had the best meal, got to be the best pizza I have ever had.
My partner had pork carbonara and was different but very nice.
We had a great meal here tonight. The fish of the day, (Perch), was real Perch and really good. Look the whole thing was good, from the Arancini through to the Tiramasu. Interesting wine list, friendly staff as well. Hidden away in Osborne Park, who cares. Take the drive.
Good food, good location, nice family style run business. Shame to virus is slowing people visiting, they do Uber eats though. Allow BYO.
Consistently FANTASTIC in terms of taste, quality, value and service. And the BEST pizza I have found in Perth over the years!
I’ve lived in Stirling for over 2 years and have always wanted to try Posto Matto after hearing so many great reviews from friends. Tonight I ordered Uber eats to support local businesses, especially during this tough time of isolation. I wish I had ordered from here sooner! The wood fired Margherita Pizza was divine and oh my word the garlic bread was perfection. Stay strong guys!
Eating there gnocchi now. Excellent handmade gnocchi. The 3 other dishes we ordered are excellent also.
The food is spectacular. Service is fantastic and staff were pleasant they will do anything you request
The food was absolutely delicious - outstanding. Thankyou so much for the excellent, very personable service. Appreciated beyond words.
Really nice food, nice attentive quick service. Fair prices but getting a bit up there. Maybe a few more vegetarian options would be nice. Pizzas were great and a good size, not ridiculously large. Will definitely be back again.
First visit to this cozy little restaurant. Food was good- we shared a ragu pappardelle, calzone, gnocchi and a side of roast cauliflower amongst the three of us. Pappardelle sauce was very tasty and I highly recommend the cauliflower. Pricing edging towards the higher end for the portion sizes. Nice ambience for a catch up as not too noisy even though we went on a busy nights and place was packed. They also have alfresco tables available although you’d be sitting next to a main road.
Spilt drink but 90% of the meals were absolutely brilliant, some meals appeal to a very specific taste, I recommend going with what you're comfortable with for the best experience. (lasagna)
Personally I didn't enjoy my dinner, it was rather bland. I had the baby goat tagaltelle.the garlic bread was a bit too crusty.all the rest of the family liked theirs.but.what I was most annoyed with was they charged $10.00 for water bottles for the table.what a rip off
Posto Matto is an exceptional Italian restaurant and very good value. I had my birthday lunch here and we tried the antipasto, pizza, lasagna and eggplant parmigiana. We all had some wine and cocktails. Everything was very good and everyone enjoyed the food. There is plenty of parking to be found around the restaurant. We will be back when we're in the area.
I ordered a take away pizza using uber eats, service was quick and it was great as it was a Saturday night; pizza arrived at home a bit cold and a bit messy. It was ok, nothing to die for. I also ordered a portion of fries and they were well fried, not oily and came with a dip on the side which I didn’t order so really appreciate. I’ll order again maybe in a less busy day to see if it was just one unlucky time or if I don’t actually like their pizza.
Pizzas were really good - nice thin base and crispy crust. Staffs were friendly but with limited customer service skill. We didn't finish our entree (calamari fritti) because it was greasy, watery and soft and the waitress didn't ask the reason when she cleared the plate full of calamari. We then told the waitress who cleared our pizza plates about this and all she said was she will tell the chef. At the end we told the manager since no reply from the waitress but only had an explanation of "because we use frozen calamari and deep fried food is always greasy. " Sadly that is the last draw for me to ever come back to this restaurant. Not only the starter ruins our appetite for whole meal (half pizza left) but no acknowledge / complementary of this feedback.
Amazing food and service. We had the meatballs, pizza and croquettes they were delicious! Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes.
Best "ITALIAN" style pizzeria in Perth! The calzone fritto is better than what you can eat in my country!
