Portuguese Delights reviews
25I love their Portuguese tart a lot, highly recommend ~ and also the coffee there is nice as well, staff is also nice
Without doubt the most authentic Portuguese tarts in WA. Not only that, all their Portuguese pastries are 5* You are immediately transported to Portugal the moment you step inside Portuguese Delights. Their savoury dishes are equally good; rissoes, pastéis de bacalhau and piri piri chicken to name but a few. You find yourself yearning for their food and drive a long way for it. Thank you Portuguese Delights
If you are in the area, you must stop by this place. Friendly staff, great coffee and amazing cakes and pastries. Their custard tarts are specially delicious and as close to the experience of purchasing one from Portugal as you'll get in Western Australia.
If your looking for some of the best cakes south of the river, well this is definitely one of them and great coffee as well.
The Portuguese chicken was one of the juiciest I've had in a long time! Perfectly cooked. I would have enjoyed it more if it was spicier but that's a preference. The tarts are delicious. I will be back to try the other desserts. That napkin cake is calling my name.
Coffee was awesome. I had a cake that I have forgotten the name of.possibly napkin cake! Which was yummy. Everything looked soon delicious and fresh. Friendly service with a beaut smile. I shall return.
Just had some chicken pie, coffee and Frangipani pear tart from this place. I have to say I was impressed on the great service from the French lady and the Cook and the range of sweets the place provides while also being delicious and well priced. Make sure to keep your good employees cos they are the one who will bring you regular customers (regardless of your food)! We will be back!
Always freshly made stuff. Love the Portuguese egg tarts, almond tarts, fish cakes and everything else. Its a Portuguese jewel south of Perth.
Thank you jeh from North Coogee.
Amazing cakes, pastries and lunches. Custom ordered a couple of cakes that were a hit with family and friends! Thanks
Authentic and delicious. It may be small but it’s just right. A delightful little café deli with wonderful Portuguese treats. Yum.
Absolutely authentic Portuguese style deserts, delights and coffee style. The place to pick up a good espresso and or a mini pastry desert. It’ll take you back to Portugal, or if you haven’t been, it’ll give you a good taste of it!
Maravilhoso, um Original portuguesa cafezinho e sobremesa restaurante no Austrália Perth!
Beautiful and unusual Portuguese pastries and biscuits. Something different and all reasonably priced.
Really good family business, with caring and pleasant service and the food speaks for its self just Great
Nice pastries and decently priced coffee. The only place I know South of the river where you can buy pastel de nata (portuguese egg tarts). The interior is not very welcoming, it's more like a lunch bar/diner than a café where you'd catch up with friends for brunch. Shame that it's not in a more central location cause I think it could really take off
Best Portuguese tarts this side of Cafe de Nata tart specialist in South Kensington UK. Crisp pastry filled with a generous amount of egg custard for <$4 each. The Guardanapo - a square spongy, sugar-topped slice of cake folded in half and filled with creamy egg custard - is equally delicious and not at all as sweet as I expected.
Portuguese Delights makes a heap of traditional cakes and slices as well as lunch foods. They also bake the most delicious small cookies and mini palmiers for $30/kg. Perfect with a cuppa. This place is well worth the visit.
Excellent coffee, Pastel de Nata and very friendly service. Inexpensive but great quality. Would recommend to friends and family who live nearby.
This is seriously the best place to buy Portuguese cakes/pastries and even on occasion hot traditional meals that taste exactly like in Portugal. There is no other place like it in Perth! It is a family run business and just like in Portugal the food is made fresh from the day, in store, early in the morning. Just love this place!
This is one of those places i would drive 2 hours just for a snack.
Best food! Quality ingredients with reasonable prices!

Lovely cakes and coffee is good. Steak sandwich was disappointing, The meat was tough could barely cut it let alone chew it.
