Port Hedland Seafarers Centre reviews
31Well worth the visit. Interesting to find out what the harbour does with all the ships coming in. What boats get loaded with salt, iron ore, and other minerals. Seafarers also help out the crews on the boat with shopping, social support, etc. Going around in a boat, seeing it all was great. Well worth doing it.
The captain was really friendly and great with the kids, the tour was excellent and so interesting!
Learned alot from the seafarers induction of how the organisation first started, the mission and challenges of seafarers. The boat tour was an insight to port hedland and the commercial activities undertaken there
Best tour, very informative, lovely staff, souvenirs affordable best of all the Seafarers are helping seamen and women's excellent free service and backup to them.
This is the most amazing place I have seen for years. The information was great. These people do a fabulous job looking after the numerous seafarers who love this place. Good on you.
Good spot to get a tour. In formative guide. Tea, Coffee and biscuits. Chapel on-site. Bit different with Covid-19 restrictions.
Awesome tour, thoroughly recommend it. Great informative session conducted in the chapel then a cruise around the working harbour.
Visited as part of a harbour tour.
Small shop usually open for seafarers coming off ships to buy supplies, etc. Not always open at this time except as part of harbour tours.
Just completed the Seafarers Harbour tour. JO completed a wonderful preamble about the history and significance of the mission, followed by some facts and figures about the workings of the port itself. The harbour tour was the icing on the cake. Absolutely worth the time and cost.
An amazing tour and our guide was very informative and a true credit to the Seafarers Ethos xxx
So how are you meant to book the tour's when no one will answer the phone or answer your submitted enquiry on there website. Call during business hours advertised on their website. And your greeted with sorry you have called outside of business hours been trying for 6 days now

Do yourself a favour and take the port tour, it gets up close and personal to the ship loading, well run and great commentary. You won’t regret it!
What's an example model for a seamens club.
Very punctual and luxurious (compared to some others) service, over-friendly and dedicated stuff and all for us guys.
Cheers for you lads!

Very good amenities offered by the club. Free food, rides to nearby supermarket and back to ship. Overall a nice experience and don't forget to collect souvenirs
