Went here with Mum & Dad
Decent food, decent drinks.
Fairly informal country pub vibes with a nice view of the water.

Buyer Beware! If you go there use cash & check every transaction thoroughly! I was charged $35.50 for a schooner of ginger beer. Apparently I was charged for 2 by mistake! The bar attendant went through the motions of crediting $17.70 back to my card but somehow it didn't happen. I was told the bar staff could not do anything more & I would have to speak to the manager who was not there. I spent almost a week trying to contact Dion (manager) who wouldn't take or return my calls. When I did eventually speak to him he was rude, belligerent & condescending. He refused point blank to even listen to me, let alone do anything, & advised me to contact my bank & lodge a transaction dispute! I for one will never go back

Very disappointing. First time back since 1987 (yes, long time) …did expect the same terrific seafood…but was not nearly the same…smaller serves of fish, some under cooked. More focussed on selling drinks than selling quality food I think!

We have been here many times, and never have witnessed such a disastrous evening.
Opening time at 5pm, dinner ordered by 5.30pm, waitress then comes over and explained that they only had enough Spanish Mackerel for one dish so we had an option to change for grilled snapper.

After ordering grilled fisherman’s baskets, we then recieved battered in heavy oil, 2 of the other grilled baskets came out very dry and cold and the Spanish Mackerel was battered also when asked for grilled, When telling the waitress we ordered grilled Spanish Mackerel, all she could do, was give a half apology before walking off. No solution, nothing! Drinks order was two daiquiris which tasted like fruit with blended ice at $19 each. If I could give no stars I would! Never will I come back to the tavern. Very disappointed considering it’s the only pub in town!
