Pizza on Cambridge

Good local Pizza place. Has become out local pick-up for Pizza and have always enjoyed the pizza from here.

We ordered some pizza for delivery and we were told it was busy so it would take 40 minutes. 40 minutes is a reasonable time, we were fine with that. After 30 minutes we were called saying that our card hasn’t gone through. They took the number over the phone again and the payment went through. An error taking the card number down, it happens to the best of us. We assumed that our order was progressing through the queue.

After an hour and 20 minutes the kids are saying they’re hungry. We call and were told that they missed our order and they’ll put our order in the queue. They wanted to put our order in as if it was a new order, behind orders that has been placed in the past hour!

I insisted that they bump our order as we’d already waited over an hour. We went in to collect our pizza, an hour and 40 minutes after we placed it. When I expressed my disappointment cashier an older man walked up to the til and shuffled papers so he could be within earshot. When we walked out he went back to the pizza making area. If he was the manager and didn’t step in then that shows his lack of quality.

We won’t be back again.

We often get pizza from Pizza on Cambridge. The quality is always excellent, timing is spot on and the service from the staff is friendly and efficient. Great local place, five stars!

I've been a fan of Cambridge Pizza for about ten years. I was really disappointed tonight: wrong pizza, took much longer to be delivered than told, sloppy and not of a high standard.

Waited for 90min to be told they lost my order and it would take over an hour if I wanted to reorder.

I love the pizza from this shop it’s fresh and tasty and good value for money I definitely will be getting pizza again and highly recommended this shop it’s clean

Ordered delivery and told 45mins pay by EFTPOS at door. 45mins later get call must pay over phone. Not at all comfortable giving my entire card details over the phone including cv number to some guy with dodgy accent but I did it. It was just over 1hr and ended up arriving with EFTPOS machine anyway saying payment over phone didn't work. Previous time I ordered delivery, the guy rocked up without the EFTPOS machine. He had to return later for payment. They're a bit unprofessional but pizza is my favourite and always good quality. I won't be getting delivery from them again. They only have specials for pickup anyway.

I happened to order pizza from this shop two days ago. I placed my order in person, in the shop. After 40 minutes of waiting I was told to go back and come back again 15 minutes later. My pizza was finally ready after 1 hour. No delivery was involved. This is a takeaway shop and it takes 1 hour to get a pizza. It must be a joke. I know where to go next time I want to have pizza.but that place will definitely NOT be "Pizza on Cambridge".

I love the Pizzas from here, or Broadway, but discovered I'm wheat intolerant. They do a 13" GF base for +$4, but it isn't quite as good.

Hey guys, maybe it's an idea to not leave your online ordering system on when you are closed? Or publish your holiday opening hours online? Whole family waiting for over an hour on the night of xmas day for an order that was never going to come. Long time customers, but not any more. Cheers.

Always so yummy but annoying when they say it will be ready in x amount of minutes and usually isn't. Rather say it will be longer so we don't have to wait around.

Pizza has always been made within a reasonable time, well priced and delicious. We have pizza from here regularly.

Second time buying from this pizzeria. One of the best classic pizzas I have ever had in Australia.

Solid local pizza. Standard traditional pizza joint with no bells or whistles. Always a favorite.

Waited an hour for the pizza to be made (was told 20mins). Hygiene standards poor (one person was eating pizza whilst preparing it during the COVID pandemic - not a good look). Wont be rushing back

I’ve been a customer of Pizza On Cambridge for approximately 20 years, over that time I’m sure management has changed many times, I’m not sure I just presume. However tonight for whatever reason, we have just had the BEST pizza in our lives! And believe me we have had our share of pizza around the world. The freshest of ingredients, thin crust and hot. Oh yeah the roof of my mouth is still healing.

Never in 30 years have I heard "sorry mate, we're not doing half and half at the moment coz were too busy". I was the only person in the store? Good news is that he had four less pizzas to make tonight. Angie's got my 100 bucks and threw in some free garlic bread.

We paid extra for pepperoni, and both olives and pepperoni were missing from our pizza. This is the first time we’ve ordered from Pizza on Cambridge, so we were a little disappointed. More disappointing was the fact that I emailed them immediately after receiving our pizzas, and no one ever replied. Wont be ordering from these guys again.
