Place is fine in a good spot. Booked a table and got a $250 food package for 15 people. Everyone was waiting for more food. Got a chopping board with meat and cheese and a bowl of olives with some crisps. Bit ripped off.

CRUSH bar at the back/downstairs.severely overpriced. $40! For what was the worst steak ive ever had in the city.flavourless meat & sauce (lack of). Not even a salad.tiny amount of chips. I should have learnt from my first visit to Crush when bottomless sit down brunch turned into some cocktail/standing thing where us ladies didnt even get ONE of the dishes being passed around, all we got was the usual leftover charcuterie scraps.the quality doesnt match the price tag here.its such a shame because i really think it brings down the whole vibe of Pirate Life and it would be better off without it!

Food was amazing! Philly cheese steak sandwich was 10/10. Hot chicken sandwich 10/10, crispy and nice and spicy. Variety of locally brewed beers was great, service was excellent! Highly recommend

Best beer in WA. Good decor with a good atmosphere, food and service. Not just a brewery, it has plenty of space to relax with a beer or meet with friends.

Popped into this place randomly, it's one of my favourite beers. I wasn't disappointed, the selection was great I tried some beers I didn't know they made and some classics. The price is a bit high, but it's inline for the alcohol content in the drinks.

The disappointment was the food, while it was delicious I went to order and got told they were only doing fried food that night? So I had to change my order, ended up ordering a share plate for myself and it was barely enough to share and I think it still cost me $24

Really enjoyed the atmospheres and the beers have always been good.
The food was great and I enjoyed the entree. The Mains which was the wood fired chicken was a bit slow to come out and wasn't cooked to the quality it could have been.
But was no issue with presentation and the flavours are in the right place so I'd say all in all great time.but please get you staff trained in filling up takeaway cans, they are a little pricey but worth it if they fill them correctly

Awesome place for a catchup with friends. Great tasting beers and a simple nice tasting food as well

Came here in two different occasions. Both are for large groups bookings. The staffs are super friendly and efficient at the barMaybe due to lack of people in the kitchen, we waited more than one and half an hour for food. When the food served, no flavour no salt, some of our colleagues left before the food has been served.quite disappointed by such a nice popular venue. Definitely need improve on coordinating big groups of bookings and food.

Pirate Life Perth, yeah I still think it needs work.
The entire venue seems disjointed, which I guess is the point.
There's just something "off" about it.
Maybe it feels like it's trying to do too much. But all the bits are left wanting.

The fancy restaurant in the middle is odd and makes it less fancy with everyone walking through all the time.

There weren't many staff on when we were there on a Saturday night, so drinks took a while.

Great bar horrendous food. This is a great bar, set out over a couple of levels with brillant vibe and really good beer but eat before you go as the food is the worst I've tasted in any bar in Perth. It is bland and ridiculously over priced. Go for the beer, avoid the food!

It's ok. If I were a beer drinker I'd probably rate it higher, but there's a serious limit of other options. I also found the food to be very ordinary. On the upside, the service is excellent, and the place has a stylish feel to it.
With a couple of decent ciders and better wine options, the place would definitely rate higher for me.

Dined here for a little outing for my birthday. Menu looked great, server on was exceptional with his help and service. He suggested we try the ribeye to share, if im honest for what it cost I wouldn't order again. An awful lot of fat, hardly any meat, is this really 600g? Asked for med, it was rare-medium rare, im all for medium rare but unfortunately my hubby isn't.
Beer and champagne was spot on!
If we come back it will be for drinks only unfortunately, can't fault the service though

Venue looks awesome but so disappointed in the food. $69 for the Honey share plate that is supposed to feed four people. Would be lucky to feed 2. We ordered an extra bowl of chips and some chicken wings. $18 for 6 and not even a full chicken wing, just one very small section. A rip off! We came away very hungry and sadly would not recommend to friends.

Just had a function at Pirate Life, we were in the back section. It's a great area, service and food were great but it was sooo damn hot in there. Felt like we were in a sauna!

Had the t-shirt, but never went. Finally been. Like the beers. Have a tasting paddle and surprise yourself with less common beer flavors.

First time here, such a lovely place. Great staff and the best vibe, thanks so much. Merry Xmas!

Honestly as a fan of craft beer and the pirate life brand, was pretty excited for this venue to open, but so far I've been left very disappointed. $45 for a pretty average steak that definitely was 200g at best, and the glass I had my beer in definitely wasn't cleaned properly as the head wouldn't set properly in the glass, a major red flag for any beer fan. There are so many good venues that offer better food & drink for cheaper that are close by (The Melbourne, Stables, The Terrace, The Royal etc). Staff are nice & friendly however, it's not enough to make up for the aforementioned short comings. Might return but without a bit of a shake up, it's pretty unlikely.

The share platter was an absolute rip off for a group and would not recommend eating here. The atmosphere is great and service is good though.

Just come here. Venue is lovely. Welcoming. Comfortable. Service is fantastic and passionate about their beers, which are amazing! Most delicious stout I’ve ever had in my life …. I dubbed it Butterscotch Candy Beer.

Shameful to be selling food at the prices! Crab roll & crisps $29 absolutely disgusting and ripping off their customers. Will never go back again
