Pinjarra Bakery (Maddington)

Called in to the Maddington shop this morning to order food and drinks from the drive through window. The girl took our order ok and I drove to the next window and we waited 5 minutes for the coffee and a smoothie and then sat there for maybe 5 minutes more with no food. I had to tap on the window twice to get a bloke's attention and I asked where our food was. He said 'I don't know, I didn't take your order'. I said 'I know you didn't but go and get the girl who did'. He walked off and got the original girl and she asked 'has no one given you your food? '. Then she asked what our order was again and finally went to get the food. The guy's attitude stinks the way he spoke to us and maybe the food order got lost somewhere but I won't be going back.

Edit: I see they have responded about the more like 10 - 15 mins minute total wait but what they didn't address was the fact that they had forgotten my order. I could have let that slide but the bald guy who came over when I knocked on the window was rude considering they had forgotten it. Not a good response.

I ordered a dine In cappuccino and a roll for lunch the coffee was brought to my table but the roll never was waited around 15 minutes because I really didn’t want to go up and ask cause it feels like complaining, by the time I had gone up they had already sold all the rolls then the older lady called me out in front of all the whole store even after I gave her my table number I still had to explain what roll what was on it while the whole store watched which made me feel even worst and I had to substitute for something else so all in all great coffee with a bad experience from probably one of there most loyal membership customers Maddington has

Tasty pies, pleasant staff who take the time to tell you what is in the special pies. Good coffee too

Ordered a $8.60 chicken and cheese toastie, its completely black on the bottom and burnt, called to let them know once i got back to the office, no answer. I understand being busy, but if you're going to charge and arm and a leg for the toasties, could they not at least be edible?

Went to this marvellous bakery on Tuesday for a coffee
Walked out with a peppered pie a chunky beef pie and an apple slice and yes I forgot and a coffee,
I just can’t resist buying something for THE FAMILY.
It’s a trap this place but it’s terrific trap and a great place to go and take friends there for a quick visit and of course a yummy snack. If you prefer to dine in house there are plenty of tables and chairs available and lots of room to sit down and have a quiet meal
It’s good valve for money and quality food serviced prepared by dedicated and efficient staff

Getting pricey for pies! Quality is very good, but $8.90 each!
Leave the cheese smoke dog out. Not a very good sausage and not much cheese.

Went there an hour before close and was told the order we wanted would be cold because they were almost closing up. If you open until 4pm surely you could serve right up to that time.

When you are at the drive thru be sure to knock on the window otherwise you will not get served even if you stay for ten minutes at the drive thru window they don't care. And don't complain coz they make you look like it's your fault and they can be arrogant and rude. Oh and I forgot to say I was at the order window with signage "ordering" for ten minutes with the windows of my car open both at the passenger and front seat and my son inside. Then after ten minutes we thought of moving to the "pick up window" just maybe someone will notice us if we move there. But 5 minutes later no one even bothered. I'll never come to this place again, no matter how beautiful the pies are. They're sour now to me.

Stopped in with the family for lunch for a 3rd time, and they always seemed to be out of white bread to make sandwiches at 1pm. Also no plain sausage rolls and steak pies. Had to heat up. $48 for a chichen/salad sandwich, 1 pie, 1 sausage roll and 3 soft drinks. Very over priced. The bakery was great when it 1st opened, but has slowly gone downhill. It still has a great selection of cakes and the restaurant is always clean.
Would be nice to have basic bakery items like white sanwich bread, pies and sausage rolls available during lunch hours.

Literally the BEST pies I've ever had and amazing customer service. This bakery never disappoints. Recommended this bakery to all my friends and they love it too.

Wheelchair accessible, toilet and ramps - very disability-friendly! The food was astounding, coffee great! Would recommend, will be back again. Medium pricing and a drive through option for those on lunch or need a quick share-friendly desert on the way to a family get together. Chilled family pies available for reheating for dinner, full sized apple pies available for desert. Child cage for the toddlers.

Asked for extra hot coffee. Came out luke warm. Ask for it to be heated please. Came back the same. Over priced. $24 for 2 coffees and 2 small pieces of apple slice.
Staff had a "don't care" attitude.
Not likely to return.

Was working in the area this week and was recommend this one after the first visit we never went anywhere else. Coffee and bacon and egg roll for breakfast then back for lunch. All the food I had was fresh and delicious plenty of seating to enjoy your food. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back again if back working in WA.

Just ordered a chicken pie today and the server (old man) was rude and racist Also the pie wasn't in 1 piece together. VERY average chicken pie! Should off got subway next door instead!

Best place to stop off and get a selection of pies, sausage rolls and pastries for staff party.

An evil place filled with delicious goodness that will tempt you away from the strictest of diets!
Service is always outstanding, just like their award winning pies, fresh baked bread (I love the sourdough), cakes, tarts and muffins.

Amazing range of quality pies and other baked yummies. This tandoori vegan pie was sensational! Lovely staff and even speedy service when they are busy!

Nice friendly service, like a good old-fashioned country cafe with all the mod-cons. They cater too.

Changed it now from a three to a two star for slowest service ever.
Pies are amazing as always, but it is better to buy instore than using the drive through. The drive through is a severely slow process.

Brought my mum in for lunch and she absolutely enjoyed herself. The staff were super friendly and the sandwich she got made was delicious. Thank you so much for making her day
