56Great park for the kids OT to have kick with the ball as well as a lake there's bbqs n picnic areas swings toilets that are open all night and have disabled access changetables etc well maintained best place to go for a relax and unwind with the kids
Excellent for a walk you can take your dog and go through the Wetlands. There are statues and various information plaques about the native plants and local trees
A hidden gem of a place; with enclosed dog exercise area, elotments & education Center it's a lovely place to be in.
Great place to have a picnic. There are tables, shelters, barbecues, and lots of things for kids to do. Wildlife.birds and such. The fountains keep the water fresh. The paths are done very well. And in one of the car parks you can find a coffee van. Mostly there till just 10am but hung around longer today. So all in all, a very lovely place to visit, take friends and family and visitors to WA. Perth has a lot of these places. People just need to find them!
Absolute brilliant idea with the new dog park instalment. Community engagement is higher, and the quantity of dogs after work is a great stress reliever, bringing smiles and laughter to peoples faces!
Fantastic area and facilities for all ages surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings. Plenty of space to explore and to relax. Take the kids, I'm sure they will love it.
Absolutely amazing place for family picnic, kids play ground, beautiful lake, quiet pine reserve for walking around and see different animals and birds.
A great open space with lakes, sealed footpaths, boardwalks and bridges, gazebos and BBQs and a really great playground for the kids. We often visit here and love this place.
Grew up with this park as my front yard and couldn't have asked for a better place to play and explore and experience nature. Tragic that the ecosystem here has suffered for so long but glad that wetlands once again recieving conservation and care.
Really great community of Dog walkers here too.
We got to Piney Lakes we were upset that there wasn't any toilets at the entrance we went to. We were told the ones that were there we for staff only, which is wrong and a health risk it would be easy to put in composting toilets in they normal have 3 toilets
M F and one for disabled. Hope you can fix this soon.
Loved the space, varied options available such as the park for the little ones bike path and large green space for picnics
What a great off-lead dog space with option of going to on lead picnic/bbq a required. Thanks City of Melville.
Great walking trails. Remember to scrub your shoes at designated points if walking through a little part of bushland, so keep to the pathways as much as possible. Lovely water features and lakes. Lots of activities evident such as outdoor Tai Chi on Saturday mornings, dog walking, bike riders, artists, kids playground etc.
Beautiful green with lake and lots of trees around. Public toilet also provided. Area for kids to play. Can be horse flies around this time of year, so take care.
I live right next to piney Lakes. Overall a great park for running your dog, and taking your kids to the playground.
Large green space with water fountain feature on the small lakes,a bit dry in summer but the playground will provide many opportunities for children to participate.
Beautiful atmosphere for family and children with BBQ areas & colorful playgrounds as well as the sounds of water flowing down the terrace and out of the fountains.
The playground here is really interesting. My 8 year old was engaged for an hour. Not the run of the mill inclusions (Seesaw pictured) Lots of shady trees and toilet facilities.
Nice park with pleasant playground for kids, but quite run down and need of refurbishment, also some safety concerns
