Perth Zen centre Jizoan reviews
10Roshi Mujyo leads authentic zazen and serious Buddhism. Mujyo is a brilliant artist, sculptor in many mediums, and has developed the garden and temple with skill and patience. He is also recognised as a highly skilled practitioner in Katori Shinto Ryu, an 800 year old kobudo martial art.
If you are looking for an authentic Rinzai Zen temple to learn about Zen Buddhism and practice zazen in Australia, this is the place. Beautiful gardens and surrounds created by Mujyo Roshi and community. Go check it out!
Great place to go. The people that frequent are dedicated to making changes in themselves and the world through meditation and conscious living, while being very welcoming to people who are interested in learning more about Buddhism or just want to spend some time in a quiet place away from a loud and busy world.
A real Zen experience you can join. Head monk Mujyo trained in Japan has excellent skills of Bukkyo and Japanese culture. Highly recommend you to experience zazen and Kobudo and Shakyo.
Very freindly. Many times to zazen and listen to Mujyosan teisho. Good training place for Zen. I think in Australia there are not many Buddhist training place and Jizoan is number 1. It is good combination of Japanese and Australian.
White Rose Robudo Group practices the 800 year old tradition of Japanese swordsmanship, strategy and zen in a traditional and friendly environment.
The centre is a must for all interested in the ancient arts of zazen and Japanese sword.
A visit is well worth it. Mujyo is welcoming and his wealth of experience makes him a wonderful person to ask about zen.
Great place to change track and delve deeper. A highlight is sitting in the manicured zen gardens staring at the moon listening to the frog and fishies.
A great place to practice Buddhism. Deep instruction and excellent knowledge. A good environment to better understand our own nature and how we can be of benefit to others.
