I went in for a hair consult & hair extension removal and re application and I am so pleased with my hair now, it looks full & very natural. The ladies were incredibly kind & knowledgeable which allowed me to feel very comfortable during my appointments. From the minute my sister-in-law and I made the initial phone call, I knew it was going to be a stress free experience. Losing hair to chemo is devastating, and having to buy a wig, VERY daunting. I recently was supporting my client attend a hair appointment at this location. Our first appointment was very warm and welcoming we were offered a glass of water on arrival and ladies were super helpful. My client was having her wig refreshed and coloured, the ladies did a fantastic job of understanding her needs and exactly what she wanted with her hair piece. She even showed the ladies photos of the hair peice when she had irst purchased it. My client has only one hair piece and she explained this to the ladies and they said that it would take exactly one week to complete the job, reason being they were short staffed. My client spent over two thousand on this hair piece therefore wanted the job done meticulously. She was adviced it would take exactly one week and my client did not object. The ladies booked her in and informed her that she could come back collect the hair piece in exactly one week from that day and at the exact same time of 11.30am.

One week later, I came to pick up my client to support her. We had an appointment to collect the hair piece, when I got to her house, I asked her if they had called to confirm that the hair piece topper was ready for collection and she said no. I adviced her best to call and confirm, as driving over 40km to find that it was not ready for collection would not be ideal for her. We contacted the studio and my client was informed that they were very busy with 'other clients' and that they needed more time to complete the refresh the phone operator proceeded to inform my client that she did not even have a booking to collect her hair piece on that day! I was in disbelief. My client remained calm throughout this conversation she enquired how much time was needed and was informed that she could attend at 12.30pm, one hour later. My client did not object. I drove her to East Perth and we arrived at the studio at exactly 12.30pm.

On arrival my client and I were asked to take a seat and wait as they attended to other clients. 35mins later, my client now had someone attending to her. The hair piece was brought out for
my client to see and approve. They had done a good job of filling in hair on the spots my client had asked them to fill in, however the colour was all wrong. When my client queried this she was met with excuses that the wig had reached its 'lifespan'. This hair piece is one year old. This was never raised when she brought it initially. Nobody would own up that it was an error. They offered to remedy the problem by toning the wig however that would require my client to leave the hair piece behind then come and collect it the following day. My client tried to explain that she had to drive over 40km and that she had nobody to support her to drive. Nobody was listening.

I was gobsmacked at level of service my client received, I understand that mistakes do happen but not owning up, not even offering an apology is truly unacceptable. My client is a customer, she deserves service, respect like any other customer. If the hair piece needed more time, a courtesy call would have been nice, to come there then keep us waiting another 35minutes, find that colour was all wrong, with no apology is not acceptable. Remember this is a paying customer you want your customers to come back not leave negative reviews!

Very unhappy with my experience to refresh my Topper. They appeared to have forgotten my 1st appointment ‘because they were busy’. Had to return twice because of their errors. 1/2 hr trip both ways and Uber fares. Paid $200, didn’t give me promised toner to fix incorrect colour. Initial topper was good but after service very disappointing.

My mum has just purchased some wigs from the Perth Wig specialist and I just can't fault the service or product. I'm blown away at how incredibly realistic the wigs are, I can't imagine anyone would be able to pick that mum's human hair wig is not her own hair. But most importantly, the staff have been extremely understanding and empathetic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a wig, especially if they were going through a difficult time.

I am a very happy customer the girls were lovely and they had so much patience with me they tried on many options no pressure to buy but when she put my topper on me I just had to have it.

I am currently sitting at home crying happy tears over the beautiful experience I had at Perth Wig Specialist today.

I have been suffering from alopecia for years but my hair loss has really accelerated in the last 12 months. With a special needs child and an elderly mum to care for I hadn’t taken the time to look into a solution for my hair misery. Plus, in all honesty, I was nervous to speak with someone in person about it. I finally got the courage to go and I am so glad I did. Please don’t wait as long as I did!

As soon as you walk in the door at Perth Wig Specialist you instantly feel at ease. The staff are gorgeous and the private rooms are beautiful. You never feel rushed or pressured.

Mara is just lovely. She has years of experience both as a hair dresser and hair piece professional. I came in thinking I would need a full wig but Mara showed me how a topper could work in with the hair I have left. Having had fine hair all my life it was such a joy to feel a full head of hair that I can actually wear down! She found a perfect colour match in human hair and trimmed it to suit my face. I walked out wearing my new hair feeling like a million dollars. Hair can be customised in lots of ways so you can be confident of getting something you love. I usually avoid going out anywhere special because of my hair. Now I can’t wait!

Other things I appreciated include being shown how to attach the hair and given the opportunity to practise. Mara also explained how to care for the hair piece and provided me with special shampoo and conditioner. Additionally, she let me know that there are rebates available through certain health funds which I never knew!

Losing your hair can be incredibly tough; most people who don’t have experience with it can’t understand. The staff at Perth Wig Specialist certainly do understand. Please do yourself a favour and make an appointment, you’ll be well looked after.

Fantastic staff who made the whole experience in choosing a hair topper fun and relaxing. They were all very knowledgeable and certainly put me at ease. With cosy, homely and private premises, I would highly recommend this company. A big thank you to all.

Amazing range, I needed a topper for my flat thinning hair. I saw Gretchen.what a lovely experience in private rooms.so many options and colours.

As a chemo patient, the most scary thoughts and experience was the hair loss. I have (or should say still have left) very long beautiful hair that I spent years to grow and looked after. So it was very important for me to find the right place for wigs which I have never tried in my life.
I found about Perth Wig Specialist from Google. Had the best review so didn't take that long to decide.
The place was very cozy and private and has so many options to choice. Sharryn and all her staffs were so kind and lovely especially Mara who helped me to find the perfect one. She was amazingly professional and patient.

I rarely leave online reviews but I wanted to take the opportunity to write my experience of dealing with Australian Wig Company recently. I cannot speak more highly of this company and their extremely prompt processing and delivery of my recent order. This was particularly evident as despite it being the festive season.
This is the first time I have ordered from The Australian Wig Company and whilst this was only a small order, I have no doubt that I will purchase from them again. It is a pleasure to find a wig retailer with such great service, I highly recommend them.
