A wonderful, supportive and nurturing environment that encourages free thinking, creativity and independence. I was exposed to so many beautiful experiences at this school, including exchange overseas to Germany in Class 10. The music program is amazing, and gave me the tools and foundation to study at WAAPA upon graduation, and I now have a diploma in music. I was challenged academically, and able to pursue my interests of politics and sciences alongside my artistic endeavours. My interest in the arts was cultivated through various plays and productions: I have fond memories of elaborate sets and costumes, and our final production in Year 12 at the Subiaco Arts Centre.
The common misconception of Steiner education and the PWS method is that students will be disadvantaged upon starting university: this could not be further from the truth. I used my STAT results in Year 12 to get straight into a double degree Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts - my schooling clearly proved no barrier to an academically demanding degree: in fact, I don’t believe I would have such passion for my studies if it wasn’t for my education at PWS, with my early interests in law and politics carefully nurtured and encouraged.
I may be biased, but as a past student of this school I have nothing but good things to say. My high school experience was rich and warm and I have developed lifelong friendships: and everytime I visit, I am welcomed back with open arms.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL IF YOU WANT THEM TO BE SUCCESSFUL. I would just like to say this as a warning to all parents before they send their child here, this school would be good for primary school children but when they teach high school, I highly suggest they be pulled out and sent to a mainstream school. My youngest daughter was sent here until year 9 and she decided to switch to a mainstream school, she struggled a lot and failed tests such as her NAPLAN and OLNA and failed just about every subject especially math, she was unable to cope with the real world as Steiner education had put her under a false sense of security and never taught her how to deal with stress. She said to me that “You don’t learn anything here, all we do in class is sit there and mess around and the teachers don’t even care. ” And when she moved to a mainstream school, she had a lot to catch up on. My oldest daughter had it the worst, she left on the last year of school and had no preparation for her ATAR, she originally wanted to go into med school but Steiner Education do not start science until year 11, and she was very behind on her mathematics too, she did not graduate and had to retake year 12. Sending your child to high school here is setting them up for failure, primary school is good because your child will learn how to be creative and open minded and caring and accepting, but if you want your child to be successful, pull them out before high school. Do not make the same mistake I did.

I've had two kids go through the Steiner education system and PWS in particular and while no school or system is perfect this has proved amazing for the two of my kids to attend here. I highly recommend it. This school contributes to well balanced, creative, caring, conscious, and connected kids.

Both my sons went to this wonderfully creative and caring school. They had the opportunity to grow and develop to their potential without relying on technology which was important to us as an already technology minded family. Every time we meet with the staff we are amazed about their quality as teacher and humans. And yes, the school supports vaccination.

This is a remarkable place. Staff go above and beyond to deliver quality, individualised and holistic education and care to students and their families.

Ironic for an educational facility to be anti-science and pro-disease.

Having recently arrived at the school, I am really impressed with the demeanour of the students, the professionalism of the teachers, and the community centredness of the parent community.
