Private clinic is expensive to access.
Even with referral from GP expect to pay $400 before you can access an appointment.
Just not realistic if you have been disabled and out of work for a long time.
Receptionist only asked about private health insurance when I expressed concern about the cost. Clearly this is also a luxury not available to those who have exhausted every other avenue including chiropractor physio and the like during an attempt.to recover while being unable to work.

Many thanks to Dr Lee for a repeat of a procedure on my back and hip. If this lasts 2 years like previously I am very grateful to be able to get on with my life and activities in comfort once again.

Dr Lee and his team were excellent! From our first meeting he took the time to explain the injury and procedure in "laymen's terms" so I fully understood the options and could make a considered decision. He was very thorough, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him.

I was in a great deal of pain taking heavy medications - 6 Panadeine forte a day and tapentadol 100 at night and these did not relieve my pain but just lessened it. I was referred to Dr Brian Lee by my specialist physiotherapist who advised that Dr Lee was his first choice of a pain specialist. My life was intolerable with the pain.
I saw Dr Lee and was hospitalized for rhizotomies for the nerves in several vertebrae and also injections in facet joints.this was completed under anesthetic and I obviously did not feel a thing.
On waking I was not in pain and this was because I had an epidural in my back which was still working and numbing the pain for approximately 12 hours after the procedure.
I have not looked back from my procedure. I take two osteo panadol a day if needed and have very little or no pain at all depending on the day. I am alive again and I have gone back to work 2 days a week (previously I could not walk very far and was in agony just getting from on classroom to the other).
Before the procedure I could walk about 4,000 steps a day and this was calculated from my Versa 4 watch, now I am easily able to walk 10 - 12,000 steps a day with very little or no pain.
I can now walk the golf course and complete 9 holes happily with just a few twinges (except for my handicap and you do not want to know what that is as it is embarrassing).
If you have back problems and tried everything else like I did I would recommend that you see Dr Lee and see if he can perform
a miracle on you like he did on me. I think he is a lifesaver and I will be forever grateful to him.

Dr Lee has helped my mum immensely. Before seeing him, my mum could not get her lower back pain under control and was having pain injections which were not targeting the right area. I was referred to Dr Lee by another surgeon for an injection in my backto releif pain. Dr Lee re- examined my case and came up with a very thorough diagnosis.
He recommended cauterizing the side nerves of at least 5 lower vertebrae and a single injection to one side of one of the other vertebrae.
The pain releif was amazing I went from pain requiring high level pain management to needing none. The very next day I walked about 4 Kilometres without pain other than muscle tightness due to using muscles I hadn't used in some time. I had suffered with severe pain due to my back problem for over twenty years.
To have the pain go away even if only for 18 months minimum, to me is a complete miracle. I cannot thank and recommend Doctor Lee and his team enough. They are to me the best in pain management.

I've been suffering with lower back and leg pain for over 7 years. I've seen 4 neurosurgeons in Perth with varying success. However, Dr Lee was the first who took the time to understand my pain. His thorough and holistic style led to finding a new source of my pain arising from my sacroiliac joint. I have been seeing Brian for a couple of years now and as a health professional myself, he has shown exemplary care and understanding when it comes to chronic pain. He displays extensive knowledge when explaining the mechanisms of pain and also provides multidisciplinary approaches to rehab.
When the pain starts up again he is so prompt at providing a spot for pain relief. The care by all of his team is second to none, this includes all of his colleagues in his surgical team from anaesthetists to nurses and all the health care assistants.

I am amazed at how much better my life is without the constant pain in my shoulder. I was unable to do a lot of activities due to the severe pain I was experiencing, My sleep was very disturbed, and I was feeling very tired most of the time.
Thank to Dr Lee I am no free of pain, and I am now spending time in the gym and loving it. Also my sleep has improved, and I don't feel tired all day.

For approx. 20 years I have experienced back pain, as I have facet disease. Annual Rhizotomy on my left side and eventually on my right gave me some temporary comfort. Upon my original pain specialist retiring my neurosurgeon’s office recommended Dr Brian Lee. On my first consultation my husband and I found Dr Lee extremely thorough with his consultation. Dr Lee would ask specific questions. With the physical examination Dr Lee was able to identify the spot which he thought was causing most of my pain. Dr Lee thoroughly explained how he may be able to help. After procedures to both left and right side of my sacroiliac I was 95% pain free. Dr Brian Lee is very professional, very caring in the operating theatre and with an excellent bedside manner. He explains everything in a way you can understand. I am very pleased and happy I met Dr Brian Lee and would recommend him to anyone in need of pain relief.
