Perth Film School

I recently finished the Hollywood Package offered at Perth Film School and very much enjoyed my time here. I had a class that was dedicated and a coach, Grace, even more so.
I was able to expand my knowledge and gain a lot more confidence considering I hadn't acted in a while. You don't know your true potential as an actor until you're pushed and encouraged and this place definitely did that hands down.

My experience with Perth Film School was incredible! I was able to do part 2 and 3 of the Hollywood Package, and was welcomed with an amazing teacher, and a great class! Managed to help bring me more out of my shell, and offer a lot more than other places do!

I recently finished my Hollywood Package course and cannot wait to receive my Showreel!
I enjoyed every single minute of each session including the homework! Yes, at 43yrs young I love the homework.
I highly recommend enrolling with Perth Film School, whether you're a beginner like me or simply looking for a refresher or creating a showreel. The team does not disappoint.

I enrolled in the Hollywood Package course during the latter part of last year and had an absolute blast. Grace is an amazing teacher as is Michael. Character development is something that's really let me down on the past but they were both able to help me gain a firm grasp on character work. Grace's ability to pick out great scripts for us as actors is also incredible

Cannot recommend Perth Film School and the Hollywood Package enough.

Ive been to a tone of other acting schools but here i feel i can really be guided into character. Its a Great place, super friendly staff and more importantly its a safe place to express yourself.

I work FIFO, 2 on 1 off and for the past 5 months I’ve been taking private acting lessons during my breaks at home. So far I’ve done two showreels, it’s been a lot of fun! I’ve been working with Grace who’s an amazing coach and she’s taught me lots of valuable things and encourages me to really get out of my comfort zone and sink into character. It’s been such a joy meeting and working with other actors and film crew who are passionate about the art. I’ve learned a lot and I’m looking forward to more courses!

I greatly enjoyed the Perth Film School's Film Making Course. It gave me insight into the practical considerations that need to be made in the creation process. Our instructor, Tim Holland, was incredibly flexible, supportive and patient and provided support well beyond his mandate!

Perth film school was where may acting career began back in 2015. Nicole is an amazing teacher and thought me how to act on screen and how to deliver. I had never done any acting before and was given a monologue to do, so I was nervous as hell but Nicole guided me though it and I was happy In myself and doing this in front of the class. There was always an awesome vibe during the course and you get to meet so many people! For which Im still in contact with and pursing the same dreams.

I wouldn’t have been where I am now if I didn’t start take the leap and did this course. I couldnt recommend it enough!

Just completed the Stage 1 Course very recently and it was such an amazing experience being able to collaborate with the rest of the class who were extremely passionate about the craft and learning so much from Acacia, who did such an amazing job and was such a pro at teaching us new skills we hadn't learnt before.

My experience at Perth Film School was fantastic.
Here is why.

I took an 8 week course in Film and Directing and my instructor was outstanding. The instructor demonstrated how to carry oneself as a true professional. There was a lot to learn in just observing the instructor himself.

Perth Film School taught me that in order to make progress with my own production, I needed to first learn how to become proactive.

I was placed in an environment that taught me to take initiative so I could get ideas off the ground. I asked a lot of questions and never did I feel that I was being a nuisance. Every response was answered with an eye opening response! Very helpful!

Creating shot-list, familiarizing with film terminology, story boarding,
these are just some of the concepts that are taught throughout the process.

If your style of learning is "hands-on" or "as you go" then Perth Film School is ideal.

Also, it's an opportunity to make some great connections!

I have been attending the film school for a couple of months already and all I can say is that not only am I extremely happy, but also very glad I decided to attend. The school has helped me develop my acting techniques further and recently even got me a few big auditions, all through the school.

Wether you have little or a lot of experience, or you take acting seriously or want to try it for fun, I definitely recommend going to this school!

My friend and I wanted to try acting classes and we found Perth Film School fantastic. Our teacher was patient, fun, collaborative and created an environment that allowed us to enjoy the experience.

I enjoyed every single minute attending my classes. I completed the hollywood package in Acting. My teacher Grace was absolutely amazing. She was so down to earth that she made me feel so comfortable. I could not wait to get to my class each week. I have learnt so much from this course and have put into practice what I learnt. The communication between Nicole (Director) and I if I had any questions were fantastic. I would highly recommend this acting course.

Perth film school is an amazing place to get your start in the film industry and even further beyond. Even through the covid-19 pandemic they still were doing online training to keep their actors up to date for when we started up again. Although Nicole was unable to join me for my time she was behind the scenes giving me advice while Grace was also going over and beyond to get to the best out of me thank you both. I am so grateful to have worked with everyone at Perth film school and the actors that were in my classes and no matter what happens in my life moving forward I will be keeping in touch with them. Thank you Perth film school, I would deffiantely recommend you to anyone wanting to join the industry.

I just finished the screen acting course level 1,2,3 and I learned so much in the last 12 weeks. Grace and Nicole are great at what they're doing and very professional. Even during Lock down we had some online private session to keep our skill up to date! I would Highly recommend Perth Film School, the best acting school in Perth.

Love my classes so much, they are the highlight of my week. Always something new to learn - Nicole and Grace have been fantastic and so patient. Had in person and online classes and they both work great!

The online classes are not only a smart solution to keep making progress with your acting skills during lock down, it also works! I was surprised how normal it felt and after 5 min the entire class was used to do it over the laptop. Even role play with several actors at the same time worked perfectly. I guess this is the new normal guys, so we better be ready for it!
