Perth Concert Hall reviews
71This Venue has increbdible acoustic for any performances. From Opera, Classical Orchestra to Guitar Shred God concert. Adequate parking, drinks, snacks and place to hangout.
My first visit was magical. I loved watching the concert from the choir seats, it was very moving and the theater is beautiful
First time coming here, we came to see an orchestra. It's a pretty venue and has comfortable seating. We got a spot right in the middle and had a good view. The acoustics were maybe a little too good as some of the notes vibrated round a little too long for my tastes and overlapped with the next notes. Still, it was an enjoyable evening out and I would come again.
The only venue Perth has for quality sound acoustics.where were you last week when guitarist Steve Vai was performing?
A Great evening at the Children's Choir Concert. Amazing evening. Congratulations to all the kids performing.
Went to the mass choir festival there. We enjoyed ourselves. We sat at upper seating at M4. Loved that it is free parking from 6pm onwards too!
It may be old but damn the acoustics in this place are brilliant. Some aspects of the place feel quite dated, however it is kept in great condition. The ground floor seating is quite narrow; as in the spaces between rows is pretty tight, so it can be difficult to squeeze past people already seated, although the seats themselves are comfortable. Definitely a great experience seeing WASO (or any act) here.
Went to Handel by Candle evening with the Perth Symphony, the UWA chorus and the Aquinas College boys choir.
It was a sell out and a beautifully choreographed show. It had everything, talented musicians, massed choirs, and an organ solo, presenting a well chosen line up of Handel music. To cap it off it was all woven together and skillfully introduced by an MC who added some anecdotes and some personality to the music and the musicians. Five stars.
Nice venue. Good facilities. Seating at the back is poor as we could not see the tenors or basses. RH side. Back.
Gorgeous carpet and staircases. Fantastic place for Robert McCaffreys Art Exhibition, "Hommage".
Always an excellent venue. Never disappointed with the quality sound and the quality service of staff.
Love these Thursday morning symphony's. Staff always so cheerful and helpful. Marvelous job all round
Perth Concert Hall has mostly excellent comfort facilities for us Concert goers. All entry levels have toilets, drinking fountains and padded seats for waiting when needed. Waiting is a good idea after the show's over. I usually rest on a comfy bench seat while the stairs remain full with other patrons on the steps headed toward their parked cars etc.
After the show most want leave immediately. It may not be a good idea at that time to leave via the multi level car park. I tried it once and had to breathe car fumes while decending to the exit at road level. I now park in the open air facility just across the road from Perth Concert Hall.
. Just sayin'.
It was brilliant. The food and drinks they provided, you had to pay for, of course, but it wasn't super expensive and you could bring it in the venue, whilst watching the orchestra. The only photo I am able to provide you with however is one before it started as pictures are not allowed during the concert.
Today was my first experience here. I went in support of my Grand daughter representing Peter Carnley from Wellard.
Such a different vibe, watching young teens playing in there perspective groups. Orchestra, Clarinet, Piano, Drums, you name it. Seating is massive inside the concert hall. I'm thinking of going to another concert there if they have one.
The Conductors taught me something tonight, I'm totally in this space right now.
Our whole family went tonight.
Would do it again next year too.
Attended the John butler concert last night and loved it. What a great venue, the lights and sound were amazing and very easy to access the entrance.
At the end of the show there was a bit of a crowd trying to exit via the same stairwell.not sure that's a great design but overall it's hard to fault this place. Well done Perth ️
Always had an uplifting experience at concerts here. Comfy seats. If in front row get the middle seats, so you're just looking up. The interaction between conductor and musicians is magical close up. The back row is fine too where you see more of the audience and it's where the First Aiders sit. You'll be first out of the car park from here! Best seats are in the middle.
A beautiful building with great stage views. Nicely laid out, comfortable seating and great sound. BUT.sadly only one elevator which (currently) allows only 4 patrons and the 1 staff member operating it. They do the best they can, with another staff member on each of the 4 levels, in radio contact with the one inside, who arrives at, or simply passes by the floors, as often as necessary to keep the numbers right. A long wait for aged and disabled to get seated and leave when over. There's an escalator from under venue carport to foyer. But only stairs and the 1 lift from there to all levels after, up to the 4th. Also only 5 Acrod parking bays total. Disappointing.
Great size venue. Not too big, so you feel like you're really with the performers. Staff were great and everything was well organised.
Thankful to have a well planned facility to house a performance of music written by a genius. A cornerstone of civilisation.
