Perth City Farm reviews
56Good, fancy and cool hall for friends and family. For wedding or meeting or for a gathering. I just love the set up. I went there to serve food for a wedding.
LOVE my trip to the Saturday markets. I do my weekly fruit and veg shop here, the produce is certified organic, super fresh and not any more expensive than a supermarket. Great, relaxed vibe means you can chat with the producers and feel part of the community, rather than shop in fluro lit aisles.
I am a weekly visitor to this place. The space we use is fairly basic, but it's functional. It is disappointing that the cafe management have left, and there is no on-site coffee shop at the moment.
I believe we are truly blessed to have access to such a beautiful space in the city
There's space for so many functions indoors and outdoors.
Whilst there's a train line right next to the farm it still has a very peaceful rural feel to it.
I love spending time there as it's so beautiful
I worked at a private function catering and serving food for a wedding that waa held in the barn room.
It is a beautiful simple place where you can make it yours and the long table style layout is perfect to celebrate your special occasion.
Exciting and peaceful avenue with lots of trees and other plants. Close to public transportation. Also have a cafe onsite, very tasty.
City Farm Perth is an Emerald to be found between suburban rail tracks and high rise buildings at the outer edge of Perth City. It is an oasis of green, growing vegetables and some fruits even hens, visitors can wander around and take advantage of grow at home related informative materials, seeds / plants, as well as workshops. Yet for me it's the rustic cafe great coffee, chai latte and tasty generally healthy food that's a treat to visit whenever the opertunity avails itself.
Great place to visit, especially on Saturdays with the Farmer's Markets. Enjoyed the Cafe too.
Barn dance fundraiser for GRAI. A great space for all types of events. Two large areas with stages, 3 bar areas and one with tables and chairs for dining. This venue is also wheelchair friendly with plenty of parking. The yellow cat bus stop is directly outside.
Perth City Farm was simply stunning for our wedding! We had our ceremony in the Art Room and it was beautiful. The space was large enough to accommodate for roughly 150 of our guests, with the courtyard outside perfect for pictures and mingling after. The farm is so quaint and homey, we're so lucky to have gotten married at the venue and highly recommend it to others:)
What a gem buried in Perth metropolitan. There's probably more produce sold here than the Margaret River Farmers Market. The prices are more than reasonable. I got a couple of jars of really good honey for $4 a pop. Location is great as well, next to the yellow CAT stand, parking all around and train station a walk away.
The cafe is bustling as well, as there is a chess club every Saturday. I'd hope to come by one of these weekends to be walloped by kids whose ages haven't reached double digits yet. And I'd sure to buy more produce next time.
Edit: Actually checked out the farm in the back, which was easy to miss the first you visit. This is truly an oasis in the middle of the pandemonium. I also appreciated that there are other cultures promoted, as there was an Indonesian art fair and fashion show when I came there the second time around.
We recently had a team building afternoon at City Farm. They were wonderful to deal with throughout the booking and on the day. Fabulous location, a little oasis in our city.
I buy my fruit and vegetables from the various market vendors.organic and biodynamic options.community style markets in a friendly, peaceful environment.great atmosphere ️
Attended an induction here yesterday with two others to work as a volunteer market gardener. Was treated to a fascinating tour of the farm by Rod, the farm manager, who explained the principles of permaculture (permanent or sustainable agriculture) practised here at City Farm. That City Farm offers such a valuable opportunity for city dwellers to contribute to community building is priceless. What a great concept that deserves all our support in whatever way we feel comfortable to do so. Can’t wait to start!
This venue is discriminating and continuing to enforce mandates even after the state government has dropped them.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
PCF you have no right.
Are you aware there is judicial review in the supreme court as we speak to question if the GOVERNMENT even had the right force mandates.
Let alone you putting in your own discriminatory rules of your own back.
Shame.
Great and unique venue and amazing staff. Im looking forward to hosting my engagement party there and thank the staff for helping the planning run smoothly. Also thanks for the kind and respectful manner they treat all their guests, it is noticed and one of the reasons we chose them as our venue.
It was a lovely place to have lunch. Trees for shade riverfront activities to watch and great food
I love this place.
Love Michelle's organic produce & Sona.
There is a fish & bread stall as well as Fruit stall, but fruit not Organic.low spray
Also, there is a cafe which I have not frequented, but seems busy.
Was a unique out door venue which allowed for the party host to supply all food and drinks and set up how they liked.
On a lovely summers night it was nice to be outside amongst the greenery
The trainline on the back doorstep is close but with music didn't notice it.
Brilliant. A wonderful place to relax and ground yourself. Easily accessible by public transport and right in the middle of town.almost.
Welcoming management with lots of garden know-how.
