Not sure how Mat has a high rating, let me explain

I saw him for chronic lower back pain. He treated me regularly and I gave his treatment the chance to work.

On the initial consult he mentioned exercises to work on down the track. Down the track after many visits I had to ask for for said exercises. He emailed off a couple of things to do at home without explaining them, and rushed me out the door. Not exactly professional. Which brings me to my next point

My appointments (not initial) were lucky to last 5 mins, I actually turned up early one day with serveral patients ahead of me. I timed them when they went in and came out. No one went over 5 mins.

The kicker is I went elsewhere, and was simply told to try walking to get some movement in my back as I sit alot for work. Totally got rid of years of discomfort.

Really lovely and friendly practise. First time I had been to a chiro, so didn’t really know what to expect. Matt is lovely and really friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly appreciated the friendly chatter and thoughtful insights into what is wrong with my neck and spine. Already feeling results. 10/10. Thanks team!

This was my first time ever going to a Chiropractor, I have had a sore neck and back for a long time. I booked in with Dr Matthew and after a couple of weeks attending several sessions I now feel so much better. Highly recommend Perth Chiro Centre.

Matt listened and researched my situation thoroughly. He was cautious and careful with my treatment, keeping me well informed. I left the practise feeling much better than when I went in and I dont think you can ask much more than that.

After all other treatments/advice from various health professionals failed to help with my back pain, I’m grateful to have found Mathew. After just a couple of sessions I’m feeling like a new person.

I had good relief from my symptoms on the first visit he was very understanding and advised me what to do

I’ve seen many chiros in my time and it’s easy to sniff out a lazy one. In my opinion a chiro should at least show attempt to have you walk out of the session in at least ‘less’ discomfort. All I was told was less
Manipulation was needed for the level of pain I was in and rest and anti inflammatories. Also to quote “ you know sitting there cross legged isn’t going to help you either” (it helped me about as much as you Mathew so cheers) Went back again and smelt a rat when he did One! Manipulation move which didn’t even touch the sides. He said I have inflammation in the sacroiliac joint when later I was diagnosed with disc problems. Quite arrogant to just diagnose me like that. Happy to give me a sick note for my employer but wouldn’t write one to say I was ok to work. I would have appreciated being privy to that Info when pertaining a note in the first place.
I understand if legalities stop you from clearing me for work (although to me that’s contradictory because he can write me off for work?) but did they stop you from decent service and helping me feel less tight? No

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Put a plan in place to help me + talked through possible requirements for further diagnostics external to the practice in case I were to need it.

It was my first experience with a chiropractor – I was scared and visibly nervous. The entire staff was amazing- from the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Mathew Farrugia himself. Thank you very much all for helping me feel so much better, and dealing with my neck and Shoulders pain!

I went to a few different chiropractors complaining of the same issue, but none of them could quite figure out what was going on. I saw Matt, and in the first appointment he was able to tell me exactly what was happening, and a way to treat it. After the treatment I was relived of the pain I have had for years, and now know how to look after my back more myself. Highly recommend:)

Matt is an amazing Chiropractor who really cares about his patients
He takes the time to listen and get to the cause of the pain
I went to see Matt with severe neck and upper back pain and Matt was able to relieve the pain enabling me to get back to a good quality of life
If there was an option for 10 stars I would have definitely chosen that option

Need a Chiro? See Matthew! He is professional, kind, highly skilled and can work miracles. Have sent many friends and family to him. We WONT go to anyone else. He has assisted and guided me to having a better posture and exercises to maintain flexability. Highly recommended.

Saw Matt the other morning in a fair bit of pain in the lower region of my back he manipulated and did a few things on the Friday and then I got some anti inflammatory and felt 10 fold better that evening! I caught up just for a check up Monday to see how it was and I must say the pain is gone swelling has subsided and feel heaps better. Chers for sorting me out Matt and hopefully everything is sorted now

First visit with Mathew made me fell confident and relaxed with his ability, would recommend this practice to anyone, after my former chiropractor moved down south. I was on the look out for someone I felt comfortable with I found that with Mathew.

Had first appointment and was very happy with the thorough assessment Matthew did. Just waiting on results for further treatment. Practise has great parking and getting an appointment was easy.

First appointment and Matthew was super easy to deal with and gave me some beneficial pointers before he would charge me for something that may not have helped my situation. Honesty and compassion in a world where most people think money first was very refreshing and humbling. Would highly recommend.

Mathew was amazing. From the first appointment, he gave a very thorough explanation of treatments and expectations. He is very thorough, professional and you can tell he genuinely cares. I highly recommend Mathew and Perth Chiro Centre.

The first session was ok, although it was expensive ($160 for 20 minutes)
However after the second session I got severe pain in the back, neck and shoulders which is still there after 3 days. The second session took around 10 minutes and cost $80 which I believe is expensive.

Best chiropractor I have ever seen! I noticed a massive difference after the first visit! Mat focuses on fixing the issue in as little visits as possible. Very affordable and I walk out feeling amazing everytime.
