What a wonderful hospital and facility services; such a shame the drs didn't think or care about what they stole from us.

The first -ever- tooth to be lost from my only child was thrown into medical waste when I PLEADED WITH THEM BEFORE SURGERY that I needed it for him.

Tonight my little boy has no tooth under his pillow to be collected by the tooth fairy, you stole a first moment from us and I am seething.

I'm NOT going to name people and I understand hospital policy but this act was HEARTLESS!

while waiting in your waiting room I wrote a letter to hopefully quell my sons desire to be visited by the tooth fairy. I shouldn't have had to!

So hurt by this and only dire circumstances will we back.

My sister in law is currently in PCH with her 7 month old baby, who has just had surgery for hip displasia. They are being held overnight for an MRI review in the morning, no bed has been offered to my sister in law to sleep in and no dinner meal is available for her. She's being forced to sleep in a chair, not a recliner chair just a normal chair. Millions and millions of dollars have spent on this hospital and they're not even able to offer a fold away bed or a hot meal for parents staying overnight with their children. It's just disgusting!

Honestly, the worst! My 1year old daughter had fever due to covid i had to wait for 2.5 hrs the doctors and nurses wont even tell you what to do next. The answer i was getting for all my questions was The Doctors will be with you shortly. My daughter was at her worst because she had covid and hand foot and mouth. One of the lady doctor came to check her temperature and my daughter was refusing to be touched. That doctor was so rude she literally snapped at us. Please its humble request if you are a doctor or nurse please have some empathy towards a sick child. This was quite a while ago but i had to write it.

Going on Emergency? Then better book a flight and go overseas. 9 hours and counting, typing these letters amid patiently waiting. What a waste of money to build a nice hospital but no doctors!

The worst ED ever for kids. I was sitting with my son for 2.5h in the waiting room. He had a temperature of 39° they didn't even bother to give him Nurofen as promised on arrival. I went to one of the nurses and asked can someone just give him Nurofen and his respond was that someone will attend soon. Nobody came. One hour before we walked out nurse showed up to take more details and prepare for doctor. She said we will wait one more hour. Waiting room was almost empty. It was terrible experience. My son was lying down with temperature and they were attending not emergency patients chating and having a giggle. Despite saying and having on they small tv screens in waiting rooms that the child who feels the most sick will be attended first. The nurses are very unprofessional and very discriminating. If your child is having a flu or cold and you can avoid going to ED PCH and take your child to the GP it is much better and quicker.

Worst hospital ever. Left my daughter who has autism and an absess on her butt to sit on a hard weigh chair for hours. Dr's were rough and uncaring. People at fast track thought it was funny. Chairs in emergency for parents are hard. Vending machines empty, no access to food after being told no surgery until next day. We were starving. Absolutely appalling. Obviously spent too much money on the decore.

We went to PCH and was admitted in the ED around 6: 35pm on the day. 8: 30 pm I went to the desk and asked are we anyway closer to be seen? The nurse was friendly and told us we need to wait for at least another three hours. This just told me that my son’s condition is not critical so I discharged him and went to an after hour GP. 20 mins after we arrived the GP, we got our meds and arrived home.
All I need is someone told me “ your son’s condition is not critical, should you want to try an after hour GP that will be faster.
No one told me.

We were flown to Perth Children’s Hospital by RFDS from regional WA. We arrived midnight a few days ago. We've been offered no support. No case worker. Nothing. We are expected to work out being 1000km from home, from my other kids and partner. It's definitely a Hospital designed for PERTH not for regional kids. Maybe there needs to be a support pack, vouchers ect, For kids who fly in with RFDS.

For a children's hospital you'd think they would have beds in the rooms for parents to sleep like some other hospitals do in the children's wards. But no you are expected to sleep in an uncomfy leather chair that's noisy when you even try to move, Was not offered and blankets or pillows either. Nurses seem pretty cold and uncaring and seem to be on a powertrip with how you should look after your little one while there. I did not feel comfortable in this hospital the atmosphere feels very cold and uninviting instead of warm and caring of your precious babies 0arebts are not looked after at all yes there here for kids but parents are already stressed with having a sick kid in the hospital we need to be looked after by means of having a comfy space to sleep so we can get some sleep and having food and beverages offered not to mention some compassion from the staff (some staff were lovely, some shouldn't be working there). What a waste of such a beautiful building

Waiting at the ED fast track for 3 hours to see a doctor. Spoke to a nurse about child’s symptoms worsening and she was patronising and rude to us. Gave us a print sheet about fevers and told us it will be another 1 hour wait to see the doctor. Nurse had nose ring and long nail extensions which is very bad for infection control. Completely unprofessional and horrendous wait time.

Went to visit my grandson after he was flown by RFD to Perth but was very disappointed with the hospital as they do not cater for the parent that flew with their child. The hospital really needs to listen to the parents and to remember they are so far away from the rest of their families.
Sorry I found very little support from the doctors and other staff members.

So I went to get my sons cast off from a broken bone in his leg which was the main bone. They toke the cast off and refused to re scan the leg to see if it was fixed or not and now we are having to get it re x rayed 2 weeks later and the docs where not that great they treated us like we shouldn’t be there and they didn’t care. But the nurses were awesome on point with everything and went above and beyond.

Have had friendly and attentive assistance from the ED and research department. Absolutely amazed by the staff and facilities at Fun on Four. Food court is a bit hit and miss, the food isn't hugely fresh and the coffee is very average.

Took my son there this morning after getting a spider bite. Staff were amazing as usual. Saw him straight away. Thank you for looking after him.

Worst hospital to go to.
Long wait times that go from 3-10hrs regardless of arrival and priority time.
Barely any regular checkups on the child.
And definitely no pre-work or prep work organised that could be done during wait time Ie - blood, urine test especially when another hospital or go has referred PCH with information or discharge papers.

I went to the hospital last night with my 3 year old son because I was very concerned. He was vomiting and not tolerating fluids for more than 48 hours and the triage nurse scored me zero. My son had not had a wet nappy since the night before, but that wasn't reason enough to at least score a two. We all understand the shortages and pressure that the staff are under, but please do not make hospitals a scary place to visit! I shouldn't have to justify myself why my child needs medial attention!
