Perth Ascot Central Apartment Hotel

It's in a great location, but the studio rooms are terrible. There is so much smoke smell, and the bathroom is filthy.

Great location for airport, city or casino. All about 10-15mins drive away. Fast food all close by. The room was spacious, clean & the bed comfortable. The room needs a replacement sofa and an updated shower but the free parking is a huge bonus.

Very clean and well appointed. Only negative is the doors close very noisily and the adjoining guests were in and out a bit.

The location is close to the airport, however the rooms are outdated, and the room was filled with cigaret smell. The curtains were broken, and the showers are filthy with soap scums on the edges. Quiet disgusting to be honest. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you need a cheap place to get by. I staying for a long period and was very unhappy for choosing this place. And not to forget the shower water pressure. Forget about showering at 7am or 5pm. The water pressure is horrible, can't event shower.

Everything about the place was great except the bloke from reception asking why I was loitering out front whilst I was awaiting my rideshare after checking out. Bit rude, but he was only doing his job I guess.

Terrible room, riddled with ants and when I reported for the second time they advise they don’t even have any fly spray and suggested I myself wet a towel with hot water to clean kill/clean them up myself. Wasn’t able to cook or eat in room as ants were running through all kitchen and bathroom surfaces.

Great location.close to the airport, friendly staff and a decent pool! I spent 2-3 weeks here with one of the best people I have ever come across and have beautiful memories of this place. The townhouse like setting, pool and a backyard was a blessing. McDonald's is a short walking distance and a decent Indian restaurant across the street. Not many options otherwise for a place which largely caters to FIFO workers.

Insufficient signage in the carpark entrance, making it far too easy to run into the vertical kerbside and damage my wheel.

Great large studio room, 2 x balcony's overlooking the pool and river.
Will be back on my next break.

It was too pricey for what we got. The studio apartment was close to the road. If you're a light sleeper, this is not for you. It was ok for night or 2.

Stayed here for my 14 day quarantine, would NOT recommend.

My first room was dirty and had dozens of flies inside flying around (this is not an exaggeration) I asked for my room to be cleaned and reception refused. I had to call my employer who organized the accommodation and get them to speak to reception, they ended up moving me to another room.

Most staff were friendly but there was one afternoon staff member who would refuse to answer the phone and if she did, she would refuse to take orders for food, or just not deliver the food at all.

The dinner times would change constantly which meant I would go the night without dinner because I could not leave my room whilst in quarantine. This was the same for breakfast, once I finally finished quarantine I went to go to the continental buffet breakfast (8am-10am Weekends exc public holidays) and was told the buffet was not open, it was just after 930am.

I'd encourage any employer to look elsewhere to place their employees if they need to isolate.

I accidentally left an item of clothing on the top shelf in the wardrobe after staying for a week and checking out early. I called to ask about the item to be told it was not there and the cleaners had been through. Wouldn't usually mind if it was a regular shirt but this was the tip half of a 2 piece I had owned for years.

When I walked into my room I panicked a bit. I quickly dragged out my phone to check my confirmation email. Surely a stunning room such as this couldn’t possibly be so inexpensive! But it is. The kitchen is fully equipped, with even a dishwasher. There’s a dining area with dining setting, and the spacious lounge has a full-size lounge suite. The bedroom is separate, which is almost unheard of, and the bathroom has both a washer and dryer. How often do you get to fly home with all your clothes clean? !?
It’s been a positive experience from start to finish. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. All the usual toiletries are provided as well as some welcome extras: shaving foam, hand and body cream, etc. And if you’ve forgotten to pack something in that department you only have to walk into reception and they’ll help you out!
The hotel has a lovely large pool, and our room’s two balconies overlook it. (One large balcony off the lounge, and a smaller one off the bedroom.)
Location-wise it’s a real winner, being only 5 mins from the airport. Ample parking, too.
I’m completely sold, and will definitely head straight here when in Perth again.

Clean tidy, but some rooms can be noisy, staff can be very nosey. Not nice if you like privacy.

Rooms quiet despite proximity to road; well insulated.

Some beautiful and interesting walks down to the Swan River, along cycle/ walkways through local streets or along feeder pathways. Wildflowers along the paths!

We had the cheapest studio apartment, which was fine, although the bed was hard. The entrance through 3 keyed doors and up stairs wasn't welcoming. Bathroom and amenities were good, but the table was worn. We arrived from a late flight, and left in the morning, so was handy being close to airport.

Stayed at front hotel room, very noisy on main road. Wifi didn’t work well. Close to airport though, however without car, you’re fair walking distance to city, I wouldn’t recommend it. Bus stop not far. Not much food around hotel, however can order through reception for delivery. I asked for privacy, no maid but they came in anyway, not happy.
