Perth 178 Backpacker

Been to Perth when all the hostel where fully booked and they all put there price higher than usual.

Stay in this hostel for around a month.

I payed 35$ per night wich was too much for the service and cleanliness (mention above that nearly all backpackers/hostel where fully booked even hotel where nearly all fully booked), the owner come clean the shower once a week or even less some times. With that many people staying and with this price, they should hire someone to come every day/every 2 days to clean bathroom.
The room is ok, and you got ac, but no locker and you can't even lock the room.

The kitchen is good and quite clean. The pros of this hostel is that the location is perfect, and the people staying long term and short term are really kind and friendly. (If someone makes way too much noise he get kicked out by the owner).

To book you have to call.

Not very pleasant, they promised us room for 4 but we had a room for 6. The beds were not clean, we had to clean them ourselves and they gave us the blankets of the last customers. But it's not horrible.

Clean, quiet place and friendly staff. Big kitchen and breakfast included. Open living room area with a tv.

This is so clean.the huge showers are great. Very central to everything.the people are great and communicate well to all.

A decent place for backpackers or groups of friends. Big kitchen and wifi is good.

It's basic, the kichen is nice and fully equipped. The beds are not the best. You feel the springs in the mattress. The rooms get pretty hot in summer and you can not turn the airco on and off yourself. You can ask the front desk, but not in the middle of the night. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The place is not too big. You get what you pay for I guess.
