Peppermint Grove Beach Holiday Park reviews
29Worker staying here in the studio units, Nice caravan park close to beach and kitchen facilities are great, Had to pay $75 nightly rate even though was staying for a week, initially enquired about week rate on phone but didn’t want to offer weekly rate which was a shame. Had to leave one of those nights to work elsewhere, advised reception but didn't want to help. To focused on money, Think ill look elsewhere next time
Peppermint Grove Beach caravan park is a fantastic place to stay, large bays very clean amenities, lots of green lawn with tall trees which provide lots of shade. We love coming here as a family. Everyone enjoys swinging on the big swings.
Where to start.the owners and staff are awesome! Second time staying here, facilities are always clean, there's a full kitchen and bbq areas aswell as washing machines and clotheslines, park is extremely well maintained grass is lush. Great for little kids and big kids. And there's nothing like waking up to the sound of the ocean waves crashing! Will definitely be back!
An ok caravan park but not in a hurry to go back. Staff seem more concerned about maintaining the lawn than accommodating campers.
Clean studio and kitchen available for use. Room was air-conned, small but had all the essentials. It was a short distance to the beach too.
Great place to stay however the owner Darren and the gardener (family member) were less than desirable. The gardener for four days continually used the noisy leaf blower all days with dust and noise entering the tent. He turned the I'll directeddirected s system on all day which drenched our belongings. The owners had a very load party that lasted all night with no concern to other park users. We were told to slow down as we were idling through the park so I used the brakes the following day to a crawl and still was yelled at by the very rude owner who barged into the tent without identifying himself. I said give me a refund for the days ahead which he flatly refused. His wife was disinterested in the whole debacle. Lovely place to stay however the family really need to change their attitude towards people and use common politeness. NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS STAY TO ANYONE. BEWARE GREY NOMADS. TRY GRIMWADE IN BALLINGUP OR GREENBUSHES WHICH IS TOTALLY FREE AND MAGNIFICENT!
You cant get a better park than this, in a spectacular spot. No dogs But locals are so friendly!
Over Easter friends stayed at this park. The caravan park is well set up with a small shop and a bottleshop. The owner Darren however continued to harass the group from day 1. He rides his bike around the camping area like he is military patrol. Our group camp a lot and have never been told to turn your tv off or turn your music off OR to go to bed.especially as most of us are 55ish!
We turned the music down. The tv and music was no louder than anyone else in the park. I was also told to shut up as were others in the group.
We were told I want you all to pack up and leave
Now, this is 10pm and we have all been drinking so he just wanted us out. I pointed out that everyone had been drinking and it was his duty of care to not to make anyone drive.
The group decided to stay up and have a few more drinks as we were all out the next day.
The firepits were also a major drama.
He stalked us til we all called it a night.
8am In the morning he was walking around with his clip board and told my husband Are you making moves to pack up. Their rules state Check out is 11am. What a power tripper. I will be notifying our 4x4 club to not go there as you will be harrassed and kicked out for talking and laughing and don't have music or tv on.
I think he was unrealistic and if his approach was more civil, he would have received a better reaction. 9 peoples fees for 2 days he pockets.
My advice to you Darren.change profession as you are not suited to hospitality/tourism.
