Peppercorn Indian Restaurant

If I could rate this place lower than one star I would.
They do not answer the phone or return messages, this is what I messaged them.
I'm sorry for the waiter who was trying hard and was friendly, but one staff member's efforts cannot make up for the dreadful food.

Hello again.
I did not receive a response.
However I came to Peppercorn this evening with an old friend of mine.
I want to say, I am not an expert in Indian cuisine, however I do pride myself on my experience with food.
I've enjoyed Indian cuisine in India, throughout the middle east, all over Australia, the UK and elsewhere.
I can say with great confidence, the meal at Peppercorn this evening, was by far the worst Indian food I have ever tasted.
We ate the papadums, the crispy and passable masala dosa with appalling watery accompaniments.
We did not eat the palak paneer, the lamb masala or the Jeera rice.
They were inedible.
I would appreciate your correspondence on this to give you the opportunity to discuss this.

Each time I have been to Peppercorn the food has been well presented, delicious, and of high quality.

The staff are friendly, and for those who are vegan, it is also vegan friendly. When asked, the staff have accommodated each time.

Based on my experience, I highly recommend this venue.

In a neighbourhood of a few Indian restaurants, this one is currently looking like the place to test that authentic taste. A definite try.

Service is bit slow and it will improve by time I feel.

Had a lovely dinner at this place. The food was absolutely delicious and the flavours make this restaurant stand apart from other Indian restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great, friendly and engaging. Extremely glad that these guys decided to open up! Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be going again!

We went last night, based off the recent good reviews. Turns out they only opened about a week ago. Considering we made a big order for 6 people, the wait time was not long at all and all staff were lovely and checked in on our food every few minutes during the wait. It was all delicious and the chef came out himself to hand it to us, plus let us have a try of the mango lassi. The restaurant internally is really nice and clean. We’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Peppercorn on a Saturday. Myself, my partner and the 25 plus guests were blown away at the quality of the dishes served. I am certain that the Chef puts his heart and soul into each dish. Every mouthful is a culinary delight it was a real joy to taste the layers of flavour that goes into the dishes. The starters and mains were delicious. If anybody wants AUTHENTIC South Indian food made with love. This is your go to place. We look forward to dining at Peppercorn many times in the future and impressing our guests at this restaurant. Hats off to the Chef!

The food was divine and can't wait to go again. Owner is very welcoming and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

The first time we went there last week the vegetarian & non-vegetarian Thalis were good, and the food was hot. We went there again last night. Ordered the koothu parotta (which was good) and 3 non-veg thalis. Two of us got the thalis after a bit of a wait, and the third one arrived (after two reminders) once the rest of us had finished dinner. Though the curries were tasty, the food was cold and the pappadums were soft.
Was really disappointed.
Hope their service improves.

The foods are great and delicious. Fantastic customer service. South Indian-style curries are soo yummy and mouth-watering. This place is just perfect for having a family dinner.

It was a blast! Absolutely stunning, exceptional! From the friendly front staff, Chef, Manager to delicious and Authentic South Indian food, chef pamper you during the dine and make you feel comfortable, it’s a truly excellent experience. They welcome you and personalise the table to suit your needs! The chefs revisit South Indian popular dishes in a modern key and different: for example the usually home made Dosa is made into a family size for Kids to have feast. No wonder our 5 kids just finished the Jumbo dosa (see photo) in a jiff. Between the entree and the mains, we received a detailed answers to our intriguing questions! At the end of the dinner a little fennel seeds for a quick digestion. I am very much looking forward to come back and if you are in doubt do yourself a favor: book a table asap!

We had the Lamb Meal and Egg Thosai. Good standard of food and service was excellent. It is a new set up with enthusiastic owners. All thr best guys. We will visit again. Missed taking the photos though!

Priya suggested we try out a new restaurant in Canningvale. I went with little expectation. The menu itself started getting us excited with a lot of our favourite food. Being in Australia for 12 years cautioned us into getting too excited with the quality of Indian food. We got Chilli cauliflower, Vegetarian Kothu and Kari Dosa. Every dish surprised and satisfied our taste buds. We got transported to Tamilnadu. The sambar and kaara chutney was perfect. Try it out Perth makkale

My family and I enjoyed an excellent dinner here with dosa, curries and vegetables dishes. Just the right blend of spices. Authentic Indian food.

The manager was so polite, and even gave us a complimentary curry. The food was amazing!
The waitress was really sweet and welcoming. We would definitely visit here again
