This is the worst school in the universe. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE DO NOT DO IT.no communication to parents, none of the teachers can be bothered to do their job properly.private schools are meant to be good, this is not good do not waste your money its trash.penrhos claims to be inspiring, the only thing i am inspired to do here is cry.my parents sent me here so i could receive a quality education, i think id learn more at a public school than here. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE I HATE IT HERE SEND HELP. PENRHOS IS TERRIBLE. ITS ALSO REALLY UGLY IT IS OLD AND CRUSTY. I HATE PENRHOS.

My sister sends her daughter there, and it is a very kind community. When i have kids, i would definitely send them to penrhos.the teachers are great, the campus is amazing, and everyone was very inviting when she came. 10/10 school.i would definitely recommend penrhos to anyone who has a daughter.

Recently did a tour.
Very tired, scruffy looking high school, with the exception of the new science building and theatre. Not on par with other “elite schools”.
I went along with a friend who was a student there many years ago, it has hardly been updated apparently.
Such a shame, I wanted to be more impressed.

This is a great school, with amazing teachers, great education and a positive learning environment. Not only does the school strive academically, but spiritually and culturally. Although it is expensive, scholarships and bursaries are available for those seeking them. The school has great functions and co-curricular activities to offer for students, such as camps, sports, outdoor education, music-related clubs and art clubs. I would strongly recommend

It is wonderful to return to such a friendly, supportive and nurturing environment - once my place of education and now 25 years on, my workplace. Once again, I am reminded of the academic and co-curricular opportunities Penrhos offers all its students and the beautiful environment in which the college campus stands.

Penrhos College has been an amazing workplace for me. They have a supportive and caring environment for both their staff and students. The College provides so many opportunities for growth and to enjoy different experiences.

I am a current parent (Year 4) ; staff and alumni of Penrhos. I loved being a student at the College and my daughter is loving her experience too. It is very special that she is at the same school that I hold dear.

My daughter has needed learning support, which the school managed perfectly. The support was really positive and intensive in the early years and now in Year 4 she is up to speed and academically doing really well.

At a young age, she is encouraged to be involved in many different co-curricular activities including STEM, performing arts and sport. I really do see the value - especially in the early years and would recommend the College to anyone as a place to send your daughter as well as a wonderful place to work.

Penrhos helped me to mature into a confident woman. An all-girls learning environment was definitely the best option for me. It facilitated an environment where I could try new opportunities outside of my comfort zone. We had a really lovely year group and I feel lucky to still have the same group of girlfriends that I went through school with.

I attended Penrhos from Year 7 - 12. I was given a lot of opportunities specifically in co-curricular activities like drama and dance. I had a lot of wonderful teachers who put a lot of time and effort into supporting their students. Over my time at Penrhos, I learnt a lot and my marks improved significantly over the years. I managed to exceed expectations with my ATAR and got into the course I wanted. Academically this school is very good but also culturally as well. Highly recommend.

The highest praise I can give Penrhos is to send my girls there after the fantastic experience I had as a student. I have been a parent at the school for 9 years now, and have been thrilled with every teacher my daughters have had. The teachers really go above and beyond to support the girls to be the best they can be.

Penrhos helped me to mature into a confident young woman. As an adult, I now apply myself to areas outside of my comfort zone because when I was at school I had so many opportunities to try. We were always encouraged to at least give it a go, a quality that has stuck with me. The teachers were supportive, whether that was through extra tutoring (thanks Miss Ed) or encouragement in my sporting endeavors (thanks Mr Fandry). We had a really lovely year group and I feel lucky to still have the same group of girlfriends that I went through school with.

I absolutely loved my experience at Penrhos! I was there from year 5 through to year 12. I made so many close friends that are friends for life. Penrhos makes you feel so special and the students and teachers are super supportive and empowering. I absolutely loved studying there I felt very supported by all the teachers and staff. I couldn't have wished for a better place to go to school.

So bad
The school only cares about what they appear like and they treat their students like trash
ms gillam and ms hart, ms clarke, ms guest were the only caring teachers there.

My daughter attended this school for around 4 years and I have never seen a someone change in such a short amount of time. Although the schools moto 'Strive for the Highest' may appear great, it is never followed through. The girls aren't pulled in line if they are speaking or acting out. The tagline for Penrhos is 'To inspire girls to become extraordinary women', I find this statement very false as they only care about how the school looks to others. They never inspired my child but yet deterred her away from all of her dreams. A majority of the staff push there beliefs onto the children and mark them accordingly. The two years my daughter was in high school her English teacher would mark according to how much the students were like her own believes. I found this extremely infuriating as a English teacher should never be biased. Can't believe I wasted my money on a school so focused on materialistic things!

A lot of focus on sport, which isn't as good if you don't really excel at it, but great environment, wonderful people, and amazing co curriculars
