Loved their roti! All their food is so delicious to be honest, but their roti is my favourite! Very traditional and fast, kind service.

Finally a really good Malaysian restaurant in NOR. Been here couple of times now and pretty much tried everything on the menu. The food has been consistently tasty!

Its ok.decent enough but nothing to write home abt. A simple mee goreng is expensive enough without charging extra for a fried egg on top.

Price is fair but the quality of food is terrible. Think before going there if you are expecting great food. No customer service at all.

O service, went in and no one greetings, staffs just busy talking among themselves. No one taking my order too, I have to stand at the counter and wait for someone to come over even the restaurant wasn’t busy.

Food tastes pretty bad, we are quite disappointed as we heard many good things! What a shame to crown themself as serving authentic Malaysian food.

Fried chicken just dried, satay tastes awful, the meat just not fresh!

The restaurant itself just dirty, table greasy. Just a big mess.

I thought I went into someone house rather than a proper restaurant.

I sit down and no one came over to order and told me I need to order at the counter

I have to ask and stand at the checkout, asked for someone to take my order.

Overall I won’t recommend this place to anyone!

Had tosai, fried bihun, chicken satay and teh tarik.
Food was good. Took awhile to look for the Cafe.

Friendly service and tasty food. The dosai was particularly good, but everything was fresh.

Located next to the KFC at Warwick shopping centre, this gem serves some of the best and most authentic Malaysian food. Seriously flavor filled - flaky hot roti canai, the chicken curry and lamb murtabak was phenomenal. This food hit the spot in every way and is excellent value for money. Definitely worth putting on your bucket list! Yum yum yum, we will be back!

Disappointing Experience at Penang Dollah.
I recently dined at Penang Dollah with friends and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this establishment had some serious issues.

The biggest disappointment came when I ordered the fish curry, only to find pieces of chicken in it. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, their explanation was shocking - they claimed that a fish curry had been dumped on top of the remains of a chicken curry in the Bain Marie. This lack of attention to detail and proper food preparation and cross contamination is simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the waiter's behavior was unprofessional and unsanitary. They actually picked up chicken bones from our plates to identify them in the kitchen, as if conducting a forensic investigation. This left us feeling uncomfortable and questioning the overall cleanliness of the establishment.

Even the signature Tea Tarik failed to meet expectations. It was neither hot nor frothy, which is a disappointment considering it is a staple Malaysian drink that should be prepared with care.

Perhaps the most frustrating part of the experience was the manager's refusal to offer a refund for the fish curry chicken mystery. This lack of accountability and customer service only added to our disappointment.

Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. The other curries and roti we ordered were very ordinary, lacking the flavors and authenticity we had hoped for. To make matters worse, everyone in our party complained of upset stomachs after the meal, suggesting potential problems with food quality or hygiene.

On a slightly positive note, the satay was the only dish that stood out. It was flavorful and well-prepared, providing a glimmer of hope amidst an otherwise lackluster dining experience.

Overall, my visit to Penang Dollah restaurant was marred by numerous disappointments. The presence of chicken in the fish curry, unprofessional behavior from the waiter, lackluster Tea Tarik, and refusal to address the issue with the fish curry chicken mystery were all major letdowns. The ordinary curries and upset stomachs experienced by everyone in our party further added to our dissatisfaction. I hope that Penang Dollah takes these criticisms constructively and works towards improving their food quality, hygiene standards, and customer service in the future.

Not Malay flavours at all. Satay was cooked on a grill not over charcoal. Dipping sauce was ice cold. Smallest pieces of cube rice. Not worth $17!
The lamb curry was full of bones and fat.
Do not recommend and won’t be going back.

Roti canai is great. Teh tarik is smooth and creamy. Would not recommend nasi lemak.

Recommended meal: Roti canai (comes with 2 serves) with teh tarik. Good for brunch or snack. Affordable prices.

I called to get a takeaway. Arrived in 10 mins, food was ready to go.
Bought the chicken briyani and the fried rice noodles.
Both were very delicious and impressive. Will definitely visit again.

Food was honestly pretty good but damn son how you gonna charge me $17 for 6 satay and only give me 2 pieces of ketupat was actually fuming.

Amazing. Go here now. Hubby and I went a couple of weeks back and really rated it so returned the following week with the true test of its quality by bringing the mother in law. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Well priced, fresh and delicious. Masala dosa, Mee Mamak and roti were the highlights. It was busy for Sunday lunch, we had to wait for a table but it's great seeing how popular it is and once we had a seat service was fast. Like other reviews said it is tricky to find at first as they haven't updated their signage but it's in the complex near Domino's/TAB/KFC.

Went to Penang Dollah Kitchen for the first time yesterday. We ordered a Lamb Briyani, one Murtabak and Chicken Varuval. Staff were friendly and helpful and service was promp.food was authentic, tasty and enjoyable. We will definitely be heading back soon.

Ok … this is not a review about the food served at this establishment … it’s a review about our experience, and atmosphere whilst trying to dine here… we walked in carrying a bottle of wine … initial greeting was non existent … almost to the point of being unfriendly … we were eventually shown to a table and given some menu’s … the place was not particularly busy … eventually we got some water (glasses already on the table) … we then asked for some wine glasses … we were told we could not consume alcohol on the premises … like? …
Ok its a halal restaurant … they’ve paid for influencers to big up the place on various social platforms … this is Australia and a lot of us Aussies like a drink with our meal … we were so looking forward to trying the food which looks delicious (from facebook and instagram) only to be told once seated we could not enjoy a glass of wine with our food … Please put a big sign on your door and on your facebook page to let people know this is an alcohol free venue … anyway we walked out and quickly nipped up to Heng Ong ’s in Joondalup … and enjoyed a lovely Malaysian meal and the place is byo … we shan’t be venturing to Warwick anytime soon
Feel quite disappointed really …

Visited on a Sat night without a reservation. Feels like a family business. Staff are obliging and enthusiastic. Ordered the Lamb Biryani, Kuay Teow, Chicken Murtabak with a serve of dahl & curry. Portions were very generous. Loved the flavours and will return again & again

Difficult to find as there is no large signage where you expect it to be. It is next to Hans Cafe at Warwick Shopping Centre.

Atmosphere is good with a very luxurious feel given the wallpaper and padded seats.

Staff seem to be family & are friendly. Service is courteous & was prompt after ordering at the counter.

Roti Parathas/Canada- ordered the plain that came with 2 pieces with a curry sauce & a Dhall. It was crispy on the outside, was "fluffed/slapped together" to puff up just as one gets in Malaysia & Singapore. The inside just seemed a little denser than normal. (In comparison to Suzie's Makan Place & Rada Sayang Cafe). It was still a good dish.

Mee Sotong Penang $18- this is their premium Mee Goreng only offered here in Perth (at the moment) as their signature Mee Goreng. (normal priced at $15.50) - it tasted OK, not very spicy, probably a little salty & on the wet side. Still an acceptable dish.

Egg Masala Dosai $14.50- the difference from the normal Masala Dosa ($12.50) is egg in the actual dosai. It tasted good but I would prefer the normal one for future as I did not feel the difference to be honest.

Pasembur / Indian Muslim rojak  (Weekend Special) - portion size is good. Fried Ingredients good. The sauce after the 3rd mouthful of the dish just felt super sweet. Very sickly sweet. Hopefully they could improve the sauce to balance the sweetness off in the future.

It is fantastic to have a Mamak Style eatery up in the North. Not easy to open a new restaurant so really do hope they can tweak their offering & do well!
