Pelican Croissanterie reviews
18 I would just like to start this review by saying their Mentaiko baguettes are like the best piece of bread ever and it only being $6.50 was already enough to warrant me giving 5 stars to them. Their almond croissants are also fantastic with their frangipane filling the inside as well as coating the outside and I will definitely try out their various danish pastries on my many future visits, and with how nice the staff are there I know I will be treated well
Being this close to DJ's Willagee Lunch Bar too, I envy all the locals who get such easy access to both of them: (
Delicious French Japanese pastries. Authentic and yummy. Why go for fancy croissants with the most unauthentic toppings when you can have buttery goodness like this
Best boulangerie around! The Japanese bread, truffle bread or all the pastry’s are delicious full of butter à la française!
Enjoyed a delicious raspberry danish and it was sublime! Plus some coffees and will be returning soon…what a gem for willagee!
Everything here is amazing. French butter croissant is well executed. Had the choc croissant, ham and cheese, danishes and truffle and sea salt ficelle. Go early to avoid disappointment. Limited seating outside the store but plenty of space in the park just across the street.
If you go on a weekend, pastries are sold out as soon as they come out of the oven, and this continues for hours. Weekdays are a bit more relaxed, but sometimes you have to be prepared to get whatever is available. Clientele has increased exponentially in the last two months, so just go with an open mind and see what is available.
Sometimes, if you are very lucky, they might be baking something brand new, like a 'Key Lime, Custard and Blueberry Tart' or a 'Chestnut Croissant'. Hopefully, people don't catch on to how good the little macadamia slices are.
Best almond croissant in Perth!
I tried Pelican Croissanterie for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The pastries are very well-made and fresh. The Almond Croissant is the best I’ve tried in Perth
Coffee is also decent with a small free butter cake (?)
PERTH'S NEXT BIGGEST THING!
This place is next level! The feeling of being in france right on my door step!
The staff are super lovely and prices are great!
The coffee is also amazing and you get a cute little muffin onto for free! ️
Thanks for opening up pelican.
Low key the best croissants in perth! We ordered the normal butter croissant and the ham and cheese croissant and both were perfectly flaky and delicious.
They do other pastries and desserts too, but by the time we got there (noon on a sunday) they were mostly sold out. So best advice is if you have more to choose from you have to get in early!
Nothing has changed lucky the products are amazing as closed up for 2 weeks no sign nothing! Shows you what they think of their customers.not much.
Have been searching for a croissanterie to call home for some time now and Pelican did not disappoint. Came here for the first time this morning and honestly could not give this place higher praise. The butter croissants came straight out of the oven as we stepped through the door and I think I died and went to heaven. The venue is lovely and the staff are welcoming and give family-run cafe vibes. The quality of the pastries, coffee and croissants in particular are exceptional. Why is no one talking about this place? ! Team pelican, you delivered on multiple levels, I can’t remember the last time I had such an amazing café experience. Thank you thank you thank you!
As this bakery is close to me and given the glowing reviews, I had to try their pastries. Even though I got there before 11am, the options available were very limited which was disappointing - so how early do I need to get here? Before 8am?
The creme brulee danish was very good - flaky pastry and the texture of the filling was just right and at the right sweetness level. Highly recommended.
The creme on the almond croissant was on the outside, which was a missed opportunity as it would have provided a nicer bite if it was filled inside. The creme was great but the pastry could be more flaky, probably due to the creme being dumped on top. Their competitor at Highgate retained the crown for best almond croissant by a distance.
I would definitely come back to try other danish offerings, if I can get here early enough. Parking is limited and tight. Staff very welcoming.
Went there this morning for the first time and I found the Best ham&cheese croissant in the entire Perth!
I’m Italian and trust me when I say that it looks and taste like authentical French specialty …
The best of the best! Can’t wait to try all the other flavours! Well done guys!
The baguettes and croissants here are amazing and the coffee was good too!
I haven't been able to try the danish pastries yet but the chocolate eclair was very yummy!
I was so impressed with coissant and denish. Complimentary small fiand is bonus~ so yummy~ highly recomend this bakery. Will never be disappointed.
This place is amazing, and just down the street! The danish are to die for and the almond croissant is on another level. They also bake a mean baguette. The owners are warm and friendly. If you plan a visit on the weekend, come early, they sell out. During the week it is more relaxed. It's great to have some decent local options.
Five stars all around. Escargots and croissants are spectacular. Keep up the great work. Very busy. Get there early.
Amazing new spot In Willagee. Delicious, Flaky and fresh. Ham and cheese croissants are to die for. Welcome to the gee.
