Peace in a Pod

The service was friendly, great and very informative took a little to get used to the floating experience topped off with the after relaxation room was awsome would defiently go again.

My massage today at Clarkson Peace In A Pod was amazing I could feel the tension ease from my body throughout and a wonderful sense of well-being. Relaxing in the lounge afterwards while sipping tea and enjoying tasty chocolate brownie, awesome experience will definitely be back to try a float session?

I feel so tranquil and it’s been hours still since I finished up. We found peace in a pod through Groupon and chose it not knowing it was 50 min from our home, as I was booking on Groupon they updated the P. I. A. P website to offer a Christmas deal which we scooped up quickly. As this was our first float we didn’t want to pay too much and be unhappy with the experience. But we really loved it! Totally the most relaxing thing to do, it’s almost like the opposite of a massage but this left my body more relaxed than any fancy massage has left me feeling. Big thumbs up to the staff and the snacks were great too.

Perfect experience and beautiful spa. This hidden gem provides a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. My first float pod was well thought out and fantastic! The massage exceeded expectations! I cannot fault this establishment for anything. Will definitely be visiting again.

I had a float and massage booked and the float was amazing, very relaxing and clean place. Provides fresh towels and shampoo ect.

I came out of my float and had to wait for 5 minuets for someone to help me. A number of lady’s came up and asked for my name and confirmed with me that I was getting a massage until a lady came up and sat me in a seating area, they said “ there were finding somebody to do my massage”

When I had already booked in advance?

During this time it was cuffing into my hour massage. I went into the massage late and my therapist was very lovely and welcoming, unfortunately I do not remember her name she was an older woman with blonde hair.

I then got into the bed, she did not ask me what pressure I would like. She began to do the massage and it was so quick and rushed it was not a relaxing experience. She had no pressure and I normally like a light pressured massage but there was no pressure what so ever. She did not get into any knots into my back or use any arms/elbows aswell as the oil being applied cold.

Half way through the back massage she asked me if I would like my scalp done which I would have preferred her to ask me at the start. She turned me over and did not massage the front of my arms when I asked for a full body. The feet was no pressure points, did not use her thumbs it was a quick slap on of oil and that was it. The treatment finished spot on the hour when I went into my treatment 15 minuets late.

I left the treatment very upset and annoyed that I had paid money for something that was pointless I came out of the massage just as sore as I went in. The place was good and the staff are very nice but seemed very unorganised and the massage was the worst I’d ever had, it felt asif the therapist was not into it at all.

They finished the treatment with refreshments and nipples which was very nice touch.

My husband and i had our first float and all i can say is wow.i was really worried at first with having a panic attack while in there with the lid closed but once inside all those fears disappeared.i would say that i walked away feeling more relaxed than having a massage and will most certainly go back for more.the staff there are very friendly and answer all your questions, lovely lovely people there
