Paynes Find Tavern & Roadhouse

We stayed at the accommodation for 3 nights. Apart from the noise from the unit behind at 2.am until 4am there was No tea/coffee facilities. No table. No where to hang towels. Meal at roadhouse was cold and vegies were not cooked through. Accommodation and food expensive.

Literally some the best food you can get, from the steak to the mushy sauce to the chips. Definitely recommend this place

The food and service were good and the chips are worth stopping for. The fuel price was higher than I have seen anywhere else. The place looks rough on the outside but is clean inside.

I love Paynes find, the staff go above and beyond to help out. The food is like a home cooked meal always delicious but the rooms are small. We also had problems with the aircon, no TV reception price is a bit hey for the tiny dongas

Food is cooked to order but is good honest food just everything is overpriced but there is no competition so they can get away with it

This place is awesome and friendly and well priced not too dear I would definitely come back here and I will too

Friendly staff, quite fast service. Huge meals are good value for money. Alcohol prices reasonable.

Not as well stocked compared to Wubin or Magnet, didnt bother with food and had to be careful on the drive in because the road is shocking

These guys are just a good bunch of people, always have a room available all times of the night.
Bloody good food any time, day or night. And they always remember my fish burger haha thank you guys. I appreciate everything! Oh and a special thanks to the bloke working new years day/night at 8: 30 pm. You're one if the reasons I stop in there. Cheers fella

Very friendly staff, great food, fuel prices were reasonable and there is a cold beer/ bed for the weary traveler. What else could you expect from a roadhouse.

Not much else in Paynes Find. According to the sign on the pump, the fuel is prepaid, but they will hang on to your card while you fill up.
Apparently they will no longer accept wives as security as there have been too many drive offs.

Long queues as only 1 till on the bowser at a time. And must be paid before next person can start filling up. Not impressed with food or coffee either.

Terrible coffee. Soy latte tasted like plain soy milk. When queried, the 'barista' was quite rude. I was there with a group and they all had the same problem with the coffee.

Friendly and helpful staff, cold drinks, nice food. Definitely recommend stopping in here:)

What an oasis.

That also delivers friendly and great service, amazing steaks, cold drinks, very clean facilities. We swagged overnight in the camp grounds.

With out a doubt the best food and best service on the inland Rd. With a great Aussie outback feel

Old lady was rude. If the customer is paying then the customer should get his steak how he likes it, not get what he get.

Dropped in today for a toilet stop, a cold drink and a stretch with my family and quite literally witnessed a staff member in full uniform buying drugs in the parking lot. No, this isn’t an assumption, as my husband and I were walking past as the staff member was putting them in her pocket. Keeping it classy, Paynes Find. About time you got some reliable (and sober) staff members.

Great place to stop and rest up.
Clean, simple accommodation with nice showers and reasonable priced.
Great food, friendly staff and fuel is priced well.
Will definitely stop here again.

They they have quite a large menu including curried egg sandwiches so if you’re on a road trip with someone you dislike stop in and gas up with some curried egg
