Pavilion Restaurant (at North Metropolitan TAFE)

Recently had lunch at the Pavilion, have eaten there a few years ago and it was fantastic.

This place is great value for money and it’s an awesome facility for students to get hands on experience.

Our waiter was awesome but did struggle under the bullying eye of the lecturing supervisor who was over the top rude to all the students and guests. Couldn’t even put on a fake smile, I know people have bad days but I clearly don’t think this lady should be in hospitality, let alone training people to be in hospitality.

We did speak to the nice gentleman behind the counter who has been there for years and she came over and snapped again. Seriously she should change careers, maybe a prison officer or old school debt collecting thug.

3 or more of the meals where basically not eatable. Steaks were just very tough and it would not have mattered how well they cooked them cheap cuts like this shouldn’t be used. The carvery meat wasn’t much better. Put the price up a service a better quality cut of meat to make the training chef’s experience better.

Then for the seafood curry, I have near seen a piece of fish in a curry that you could only cut with a steak knife and even then it was like an old piece of rubber.

Very sad as previous experiences have been great and to think it’s booked out months in advance. I wouldn’t rebook again.

Had dinner at the Pavilion Restaurant tonight with work colleagues, everyone loved their food, the service was amazing, place settings and cutlery made you feel like you were in a very classy restaurant. Thank you to all the students for making it a very memorable dinner experience.

Superb meal and excellent service.
The one comment I can give is for service staff to ask if it's OK to clear a plate before doing it.
I see the team from the kitchen to the dinning team having a very very successful future in this industry.

Restaurant to train waiters. Food is usually fabulous and beautifully presented. Waiters are learning and of variable skill which is to be expected. The restaurant is modern, has architectural merit an d a lovely bush outlook to the north. We always enjoy dining here.

This restaurant is amazing and helps young people become job ready in the culinary world! Ate here randomly for dinner and it was soo good and if the price is still the same, $30 pp for a three course meal! Delicious!

This venue is too noisy inside with hard polished concrete floors. The food was ordinary to poor and tasted overly Sweet My lamb ribs were overcooked leathery and ultimately inedible. Both the tacos and chicken appeared to come with the same pinkish sweet mayo as did my daughters cauliflower. So lazy to use the same ingredients in all 3 dishes. Need to try harder as the location of the venue is great
Also use a larger font on the menus please.
A disappointment so we will not be rushing back.

Twelve of us had the three course lunch which was fantastic for $22.50. Service, presentation of food, taste factor & outlook were excellent. Well done to all the staff, will definitely go again

The fact you get a very reasonably priced meal while supporting students doing their thing in itself is a reason to go here. Loved the meal and experience. We will be back!:)

11 of us had three course dinner here at Pavillion today. Fantastic service, outstanding food, perfect clean comfortable setting, can’t fault a thing. Thanks Ali and Greg and your wonderful team. Good work.

This restaurant never disappoints us. Always a interesting menu & lovely food. We will keep coming back!

We had a lovely lunch today at the Pavilion Restaurant. The students did a wonderful job. They were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. They were very accommodating to our baby even getting him his own cup to drink from. Thank you we will be back:)

Came here with my family for lunch. Really decent food and friendly service from the students.

Had halloumi salad, barramundi with celeriac risotto and warm frangipani tart with chocolate ice cream. Bang for 30 dollars three course meal at Pavillon north metro Tafe in Joondalup

Staff were friendly and professional, food was delicious. They managed to serve the whole table their entrees, mains and desserts at the same time which is something I haven’t experienced in any restaurant for a long time.
